I kind of thought the same thing in real time. Actually before we even scored i played out that scenario and thought 2 were the better option for the reason you suggested.

I don't really ever see a HC call a clean game with perfect operations down to down for 4QRS…..whether ya'll like it or not, the HC is pretty dependent of his players. You think Bourne not lining up properly is a coach thing? Guy has been playing football for most of his life. Players are allowed to be held accountable. Folks in here have been going off on Kyle for years about any sort of penalty, like it's just a coaching thing….one of the least penalized teams in the league, with one of the most movement roster wise. You make it a 24 to 19 game with just under 3 minutes left and you're giving yourself a chance to WIN the game with a FG if the Eagles score a TD.
Going up 6 vs 5 makes no difference in that Eagles need a TD regardless. But odds of making an XP are typically higher than making a 2pt attempt, especially vs a defense like that. We're lucky we held them but in case of them being able to get their TD winning with a FG > tying with a FG.

I think the possibility of a game winning kick is what drove the decision to not go for two, but who knows.
