It suck's to have 3 now. lol but that first one really hurt the mystique of this organization, at least in my eyes. Is what it is - losing 3 straight has just made it not a big deal to lose them anymore. I'm totally used to losing NFCC and SB. lol anyone approx 30 and younger, that's all we know.

Also hurts to lose the SB to the weakest SB winner of the century so far.

I look at our SB record as 5-54.

Below .500 conference championship record if memory serves.

Why didnt we win the Super Bowl in 2023 ? With a stacked roster and no injuries ?

Because the Chiefs are an all time team that happened to a play better on the day.

I'll take all those 11 games over never making it like Houston every day of the week.

You don't come into a niner forum and make that argument. This franchise and fans pride themselves on the superbowls won. There is a history we are proud of. Making statements that superbowls don't matter will just piss people on here off. If you want to argue individual stats matter more then you're s**tting on this teams history. There's only one goal for a head coach. And that's to win a Super Bowl.

Have to disagree with you a bit there. The thing that made the 49ers special is that they had never lost a Super Bowl, until Harbaugh and Kaepernick came along. When we got there, we won, that's what made it unique. and gave us our bragging rights. Once that streak was broken, we're just another team competing for the prize every year. I always root for them to make it there again and win, but it just hasn't been the same since 2012. Just my take, I'm not going to argue it with anyone so you can view it however you like.

A sb is a loss is a sb loss. Harbaugh went against a defense that shutdown Luck, Brady and Manning. His team put up 30 points

If you are mad at them, then you should hate Kyle

The play was pretty even. The coaching was not

But as posted numerous times, we have one of the greatest coaches in the league. So we gave that coach a loaded roster. Why couldn't we win it all in 2023 ? Are we arguing that losing linebacker number 2 was all it took for the team to fall apart ? Seriously ?

im not a fan of ticky tack calls, but I think egregious ones should always be called. Especially when it's constantly happening.

I don't think games are "rigged" but I def think the nfl tries to influence them in a certain direction by having the refs favor certain things for one team. 2023, they wanted to rake it in with TS - and they did. We made a bunch of mistakes in that game but the refs def weren't giving us any breaks.

They most definitely did wanna rake that in. And the whole practice field bs is beyond me..and a whole week of non stop rain in Vegas..and the clouds, I swear were mostly over the area where UNLV is lol. Give KC, the biggest rival of LV, the Raiders field..gtfo with that s**t. There are so many Niners fans in Vegas...then to give them the Raiders field..f them lol. And then they stayed in hotels close to each other and ya know some ahole KC guy pulled the alarm..lol. I think they had another media/signature day that day. I wish energy wasn't wasted on stupid Opening Night and media bs lol. The whole week felt like a cluster cluck..and then it ended up extending into the SB. That loss hurt like no other lol..glad KC isn't in the race!

Harbaugh is overrated, sadly, his best appearance was being on an episode of Saved by the Bell

What hurts most about a lot of our recent NFCC loses is the opponent we would have played in the SB, IMO. lol it's not guaranteed we would of won but boy did we have a great chance.

i was at the game against the giants, 2011 season NFCC (I believe it was Jan 2012). I'll never forget how loud candlestick was and then when Kyle Williams fumbled at the end and giants recovered it - I just remember how silent the stadium went. Such a wild moment and so sad. lol

I was at the last game played at Kezar when the Niners blew a lead against the Cowboys in the NFC title game. The next year at Candlestick they lost again to the Cowboys. The following year they lost a divisional playoff. That led to a long run of bad seasons until Walsh came along. We spent those years sitting in a half empty stadium while the Raiders were having their glory years. It got real tiring hearing it from their fans. But we got or revenge in spades in the 80's and 90s

While the Ravens were an unbeatable juggernaut no one could beat.

They fell apart? Game went to overtime.

Brock hits Aiyuk against the blitz and they are kicking a game winning fg in regulation.
So Shanys record trailing at halftime by 7+ since 2017 is beyond poor......how should we spin this?
