dude is pushing 50 but has the critical reasoning, persuasive skills and temperament of an 8 year old. Sounds like a miserable person who seeks validation from their favorite sports team winning a championship. "I'm an alpha because I only settle for Super Bowl victories". Pathetic.

Offseason plan:
Keep Kyle but strip him of any managerial / personnel / drafting powers.
Fire Lynch and get someone from the Eagles' FO to be the GM (or anyone else I don't care).
Get Jim Schwarzt or Raheem Morris to run the defense.

They already reduced Kyle's role in personnel this past offseason according to multiple reports.
I actually wouldn't be against your suggestion here regarding the GM position, but I just don't understand how people who make this suggestion struggle to identify our core structural issues.
Look back to 2017 when we went looking for GMs and couldn't land any of our targets. There were actual reasons for that.

You pretty much nailed it. One more Super Bowl win would be nice and I can die in peace :)

As poorly as his defense has been i dont either.
He inherited a work in progress defense. They spent last draft trying to address the run defense which is the correct approach because it was horrific last year. It's not his fault our top two defenders (all pros btw) and his first round pick are out for the season. Never
ind all the other injuries. It's been an friggin insane season. We have no luck.

That Championship banner will be hanging in the rafters forever.
In what world does Andy Reid guarantee a SB win next year with our roster? He couldn't get more that 6 wins in 14 games with Mahomes this year.
We had people in here saying he's got these plays that can't be defended saved for just the right occasion. What occasion was he waiting for this year?
Now if we were starting with a brand new QB then I would take Andy. But that's not what you asked.

The winner of the COTY of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 have all been fired. And if 9 keeps looking like a bust OConnell will be joining them.

I guess it depends how much you value winning Championships.
In no way shape or form is Nick Foles more successful than Dan Marino when it comes to being a player in the NFL.
SB is the ultimate team goal but that doesn't define a career since it's a team game.
The reason people are coming at you isn't your criticism of the team. It's the absurdity of your arguments. Like the one above…simply insane thought.
Also the idea that as long as you don't win the SB every coach is the same. Insanity.
There are coaches who lose teams left and right if things aren't going well. There are coaches who have great talent on the roster and can't make it work. Coaches who have talented and teams going into the playoffs as favorites who fall flat on their face and their players are put in bad positions to win those games.
Kyle doesn't have a SB but he's had us in every game in the postseason that we lost. DrEll worships McVay cuz he won a SB. His defense held the Bengals(a weaker team with weaker coaching) with a 3 point lead. Kyle watched his defense fail to do that 3 times in the last SB.
Thats the difference between McVay being a winning SB coach and Kyle being one. An impact play on defense(not even getting into the mistakes on offense that were there to be made with Kyle's playcalls)
Harbaugh went into his SB against a coach he's known literally since birth. He had the more talented team that was dominant in the trenches. A dual threat QB who took the league by storm. A dominant 2 TE set and his whole week 1 starting defense. Yet we needed a blackout in the stadium to kill the Ravens momentum just so we didn't get blown out.
No, they're not the same.

The GM of the year award is similar. GM's win it and then get canned three years later.
This league is absolutely brutal. Even Belichick got fired ffs. First by the Browns in the 90's and then by the Patriots two years ago. Literally nobody is safe for long. You could objectively be the best on the planet at your job but if you suddenly suck for 2-3 years you're out.
((But right now, Kyle is safe. It'll take back-to-back years of missing the playoffs for Jed to fire him))

Reid was in Philly for 14 years and I don't think their fan have any regrets the team got rid of him. Shanahan about to hit the 10 year mark with no rings and this fanbase is content with giving him another 10 years at it.
Tomlin (19 seasons, last SB 2008 win, SB loss 2011) - fans want him out.
Reid (13 seasons, last SB 2023 win, 3 wins / 2 losses) — job safe
McDermott (9 seasons, 0 SB) — fans want out
McVay (9 seasons, last SB win 2022, SB loss 2018) — job safe
Shanahan (9 season, 0 SB) — fans want long term contract.
the only 2 coaches with that kind of tenure with ZERO SB rings are McDermott and Shanahan. McDermott looks like he will likely be gone in a year if he doesn't get one. Kyle fan want him to have an indefinite access because he keeps winning regular season games. Something seems wrong with this picture…
Hmmm almost like most people understand that McDermott hasn't been able to even get to the SB while having one of the best QBs in the game?
If Kyle did the same thing people would be looking to make a change too. That's another thing you don't want to acknowledge. Kyle has made these runs without elite QB play. Whether the Jimmy G years(literally hiding him in the 2019 trip there) or with him not even being healthy in the 2021 run(how lucky for the Rams they didn't have to go to GB to play MVP Rodgers cuz we knocked them out for them) and even with Brock in 2022 as he was ramping up. He was a lot better in 2023 but too many mistakes in the SB, including a key one by Brock that would've won us the game in regulation.
Yet you're still here b***hing about it all being Kyle. Seems like you're gonna have to keep the cope coming for at least another year.

Yes Kyle wanted full control. I hope he understands the best thing for him and the team
is to surrender that power or at least bring in someone who he can trust more to call those early shots like he did with Saleh this past draft. I think it led to some good things and hoping the lightbulb moment happens for Kyle.

We didn't initially target Kyle according to reports. We initially targeted Chris Ballard at GM and he wouldn't even take an interview. Our first coaching target was likely Josh McDaniels.
My point isn't about Kyle eventually using leverage to gain control of the roster. That was smart of him to do, and we've largely benefited from it even factoring some of the head scratching mistakes.

It's just the truth, I mean we're not suppose to win…that's all you talk about in the Philly thread. Kyle could coach his ass off and you'd be a pig in s**t over a loss on Sunday.
What I find even more stupid is all of this s**tting on Kyle right now….when we've clearly outplayed where we were suppose to be after the injuries.
Finally I'll say, you cry about how bad this roster is blah blah blah which leads to the notion that the roster matters…yet you don't account to injuries and lesser players having to be on the field like in the SB or this yr…just constantly contradicting yourself and you don't even know it.
Why didnt we win the Super Bowl in 2023 ? With a stacked roster and no injuries ?
