There's no hypocrisy, your takes on here are what's being attacked. You're lucky you get those PMs and not actual timeouts so maybe respond to them if you have an issue instead of bringing it here.

Who cares what his "takes" are. This is a message board and someone is free to say anything they want as long as they keep it between the lines no? Getting warnings, timeouts or even bans is absurd if all the guy did was have a different opinion.

Shanahan won't win one. He's not a good head coach. Maybe as an OC he has a chance. And I don't think other owners would give him the type of leash dope Jed has given him. The Yorks only care about selling tickets. They're quite content with blowouts against the Cardinals and Titans because it'll sell out the stadium vs Seattle and countless fans will buy black out jerseys, even if the team gets man handled. He won't hold Kyle accountable but at some point Kyle himself will burn out and then trash some other franchise…

No, they've just been relentlessly spamming the board longer with the same tired, repetitive, factless takes. I say this as someone who at times has been pissed at Kyle and wondered if we should move on, but when taking a beat and objectively evaluating coaching in the NFL, he's one of the best.

If there was a big group of Niners fans that watched every game at someone's house or a bar, but there was a guy who literally every game, every other play, and every day during the week was texting the group to moan about the same thing over and over, the group would stop inviting that person or find a new bar without telling them.

You can't do that with a message board. Best you can do is warn that person as a way of letting them know they're THAT guy. When you say the same things 1,000 times and then play the victim, don't be surprised when people grow tired.

There's a MASSIVE difference between having a legit honest objective debate…one with nuance and each other having the balls to admit their take is wrong or emotionally fueled at some point….vs whatever crap ya'll keep tossing in here. You have no idea what the PMs were about. Every few weeks you guys start crying in here instead of responding to PMs if you have issues. There is an easy way to get a hold of all mods if you have a problem with me.

But since you two like to air this stuff out in public then I'll address this again.

This is a 49ers forum. Our job is to keep conversations going without restricting opinions good or bad. However the majority of the people posting here are 49er fans. So while nobody is expected to believe the team can do no wrong IF a negative opinion is made about the team the expectation is to add context, facts and/or proof to the statement/opinion being made.

If you provide that it leads to good discussion. If people come in to just post about things that are straight up lies or make ridiculous takes with nothing of substance or logic behind them that typically leads to people getting worked up.

I don't want to have to give fans who love this team timeouts or warnings because they couldn't help themselves respond to a throwaway comment that had nothing to it.

So yes...if you're going to make negative points the expectation is you have substance behind it otherwise I'll just start assuming people are trolling and looking to incite the majority of this forum.

And lastly...we don't broadcast who gets warnings or timeouts. You thinking that people can say whatever as long as they support the team is simply not the case. Personally I've had to give out more warnings to posters I agree with than you guys. Partly because they're responding to those nonsense posts...

I've literally made several posts in the last few days pointing out my issues with the front office and Kyle's control of the draft. NY and I have gone back and forth on several moves the 49ers made he disagreed with. Sometimes I agreed with him, sometimes not. But whatever his opinions are he brings reasoning and logic behind it. I may not agree with his takes all the time but he doesn't just throw out hindsight based arguments and then says "I don't know how these guys have a job"...when they're 12-5 in the playoffs after an injury plagued season.

Oh and FYI venting on here won't change anything about the team. No matter how many times you scream for someone to be fired it won't matter a lick to Jed York. Maybe try twitter? At least there you may be able to get through to him.

It's not lying. Not in the slightest. There are MULTIPLE posts in just the past few pages and all that poster says is "Go cheer for another team", "Go to the Rams or Seahawks forum", "You're not a 49er fan" and etc. and that is allowed.

That right there is the definition of spamming or inciting and it's allowed. But say something negative and you get banned.

Quick how many timeouts or warnings did I give you?

Negative points with no substance to them, which have been repeated over and over again sure smells like trolling or spam, whichever you prefer.

It most certainly isn't a conversation starter or new discussion point.

Team is 12-5 with some of our most expensive and best players out for the year or missing a bunch of games. The take of "How do these guys even have a job" is simply not in any way shape or form a real take to make. It smells like trolling. Cuz if it's not trolling that doesn't speak well to your understanding of the NFL.

I've argued with just about every poster in here at some point lol. People I would consider very insightful and whose opinion I value, to the people that are straight up full of s**t. I don't discriminate.

one thing in common in those conversations is I try to bring facts and logic to my stance…sometimes I'm right and sometimes I'm wrong. I do try to admit when I got it wrong because if I can't be honest with myself, then why should I expect others to be?

End of the day this is just a freaking football forum lol, but man overwhelmingly SM has turned into a cesspool of bad faith takes and s**t opinions. It's full of people who have no ambition to be honest with themselves, yet want everyone else to be. So many hypocrites and grifters who don't want objective discussion that leads to good positive stuff, but rather create negativity for engagement. Ugh

It's not complicated. Feel free to post any venting you want - just put in your reasoning and make it rational.

12-5 team in the playoffs with impact injuries all over and a take of "These guys should be fired, I'm shocked they have a job still" or your exact wording is not rational in the least bit.

And once again...you didn't get a warning or timeout from me. So what exactly are you crying about?
