You either praise Shanahan and bow at his feet or you aren't a true 49er fan. We get it. That's how you try to end an argument. "Agree with me or you're not a true 49er fan"

The real defense mechanism is at the end of the day at least we "made it to two Superbowls" right?

No you're just being flat out stupid and emotional.

Nick foles, Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer are not better QBs than Dan Marino and Jim Kelly, yet that's the Kyle hater club's whole defense on why Kyle needs to go. Be objective for once.

Do you think Dan Marino and Jim Kelly would trade all their stats for one ring? Or do you think Ravens fans would trade 10 years of Marino and all those stats or one year of Dilfer and a ring?

No-one is claiming those guys are better than Dilfer or Foles. No-one is claiming that Doug Peterson is better than Shanahan but at the end of the day they have Championship rings and Shananan, Marino and Kelly are just another guy who couldn't get it done when it mattered.

At the end of the day this game is judged on how many Championships you win.

I remember watching the SB win in 1994 vs the Chargers and that was 30 years ago. I remember Jerry Rice and Rickey Watters torching that D with Steve Young. I'd trade every single stat and NFCCG and SB loss for one more Championship. Nothing else matters.

Its very possible that these questions yield opposite results. What a fan wants and what a player wants are two totally different things.

Would Dan Marino trade his career for Trent Dilfer's career? Doubtful.

Would Dolphin fans trade Marino for a Superbowl ring? Probably.

THAT just tells you how good Mahomes is... Even Shanny said he was a Freak of Nature, but he rather go with CJ Beathard.

Talk about a reach now LMAO

How so? Andy is suppose to be the most elite play caller ever….thats I'll I've heard in here was how great he's was at it…oh no he lost the GOAT QB and has one of the worst offenses in the league and can't win a single game??

Last I saw our backup QB went 5-2 and with more injuries than that KC roster.

Literally nobody saw one of the best QBs of this generation. Nobody.

There are a ton of people on here who view this team with rose colored glasses and think they can do no wrong and every player has promise at the same time the KS is a terrible HC crowd is pretty much "only my take is right". If you took a poll of owners I bet the only coach that would be above him would be McVay. KS is good. He can be incredible stubborn at times and his play calling and personnel choices can sometimes be questionable, and I put a ton of blame on him for the second SB loss especially not knowing the OT rules that was a big blunder but that doesn't mean he's not a good HC. He is a top 3 offensive mind in the game. The players seem to enjoy playing for him, The team under him has had a lot of success and other than JH he's been the bet 49ers coach since Walsh.

I think a lot the issues with this team stems from a lack of talent. Jennings and Glass are good WRs but far from great so there really isn't a true #1 we sort of have a bunch of #2s and #3s. CMC has clearly slowed down and we don't have an explosive back up RB to help alleviate some of his burden and we just can't seem to draft that spot well at all. We all know how bad the OL is despite what PPF says and Purdy IMO is very Jimmy G'esque. He's good and you can win with him but he has got limitations.

I would love to see Kyle with a QB like Josh Allen and WR that can constantly win 1 on 1. I bet we would see completely different sides to KS.

Kyle had a chance to get the best QB ever and then got outbid on the MVP of the league this year.

The only one to blame for Shanahan not having a "Josh Allen" type QB is himself.

Wasn't Brady's last year in NE very average and the talk was he was slowing down? I don't think people saw him picking back up like he did in TB.

.. yeah he was on the downside and average enough to win another Super Bowl

NO one knew he was going to be this good, but Andy took that chance.. even if he had failed with Mahomes, he still at least took the chance... Shanny said NO to TB..

I mean you're lying if you think he wanted CJ to be his FQB. No need to fib and making up s**t.

Damn near every team had a chance to get mahomes and said nah. KC moved up from 24 overall to get him. Even Andy had to be talked into him, dude wanted Paxton Lynch the yr before.

You're in here all the f**king time telling us how amazing of a play caller Andy is….surely he would so more than score 12 pts a game and go 0-4?? I mean best play caller in the league according to you?

it's just FATE... Marino and Kelly was never meant to win the Super Bowl.. and I keep saying it here, Shanny may win one, but not here... football GODS keep showing us why he wont win one here..

The Coverage
The Fumble

Oh you're right. Shanahan is better than Reid.

Stafford was never gonna go to SF if LA wanted him, his wife wanted him in LA, they had Goff to give up and a relationship with the lions GM.

blanket statements don't mean s**t without context.

I meant Brady. Not Mahomes.

So you know for a fact that Stafford wouldn't come here? Talk about blanket statements.

He didn't get Aaron Rodgers either.

I guarantee Marino would trade all his stats and TD passes for one ring.

Arm was special. So was Jamarus Russel. Milton, Kap, Vick etc….That system he was in was not conducive to NFL offenses at the time. s**t load of backyard football, pretty big projection.

KC played backyard football and won 3 Super Bowls with Mahomes and Reid.
