I asked you a question. Who lowered any bar? Your whole "if we don't win a SB then I'm not going to enjoy it" schtick is incredibly lame.

How many of you guys rooting for Kyle's failure expected us to be where we are right now?

A window is just that. It gives you a chance to break through at any moment. EVERYONE here wants that to happen.

But the few of you trying to bash other fans for enjoying the process even if the end result isn't a SB win is old.

People don't need you here to make others miserable until we win the SB. Fans are allowed to enjoy the process and hope for the end to be a win with a new Lombardi to show for it. It doesn't make them any less of a fan.

In fact I'd argue the fans excited for each win are better fans than the ones who can't enjoy anything until the team wins the SB. Why even be a fan?

So do we all. But you're the one kicking and screaming the whole way like a child who didn't get his way. The point isn't to celebrate being 12-4, it's to show you that being a b***h the whole season doesn't make much sense.

SB win or not this season was a huge success, the team has over $103M in dead money, no one gave us a legit shot at the playoffs, let alone with #1 seed, we're 12-4, I'm so happy with every win, I want a SB badly, I vaguely remember the 1994 season, I was only 10, so this would be so sweet to win it, but either way I'm happy with 2025, and love Kyle & John, what they've had to deal with, injuries, getting rid of expensive players, dealing with the crap that Aiyuk has put them through, top notch job by them, Kyle is COTY IMO, I think a win tomorrow cements that IMO anyway, but either way this year is a huge success.

I was too young to take in the 1994 win, so I've been craving a SB win by the 49ers my whole life, too.

the way I view this year is - well when we had the team to win it and were expected to win it - we didn't. So maybe we can do it with a loose offense and trying defense. Would be magical to win it all this year at our own stadium.

almost seems like how the 1988 season went. Squeezed in at 10-6 and went on a terror! That set the table for the next several seasons. What I mean is I don't think many thought the 1988 Niners would win it all until they got in at the end of the year.

It seems to me a lot of the people who have been complaining all season about one thing or another have put themselves in a difficult position. Kyle sucks. Lynch doesn't know what he's doing. Brock threw three interceptions, why aren't we starting Mac, he's better than Brock. Alfred Collins sucks. Why didn't Mykel Williams have more sacks before he got hurt, and on, and on, and on. And now all of the sudden, the team has played itself into competing for the one seed and having a chance to play for the Super Bowl in their own stadium. It makes me wonder what they're going to find to complain about next if that happens.

Of course, the other side of that coin is if the team ends up being one and done for some reason then they'll all say, I told you so, without ever giving all of the people they were ragging any credit for having gotten the team further this year than anyone had any right to expect. Such is the nature of 49er fandom for some people. Go Niners!
