He will always make some sort of backbreaking terrible challenge, wasted timeout, mismanage by relying too much on a player coming back from injury, or giving the ball right back to a player after a long run, or dumb play call like having the wrong personnel block or go out for a pass.
Just enough to negate any talent advantage and choke the game away against SB contending teams.
Also the team can't run the hurry up offense or understand how to correctly play from behind so its always going to end up choking away a playoff game of some sort.
The total amount of "clean" games I can recall where none of the above occurred is less than a dozen and that's out of a hundred+ games.
It's really bad now how much we are still trying to run the offense through mcaffrey when he's obviously lost a step as well.
Tony Romo never made it to the NFCCG let alone the SB. Once again...you guys gotta work on your analogies.
Literally none of these things you posted in the bold above happened or led to us losing either SB.
Like seriously what do you guys actually watch? Just straight up nonsense and absurd narratives. Like who should Kyle run the offense through with a backup QB, missing our top 2 WRs and Kittle out most of the season?
There's nothing absurd about it. Romos career win loss is 80-53 kyles is 84-69.
They both have the same amount of SB wins.
It's posts like yours that make me think of why people think shanahan is so great.
Let me translate this into direct examples for you so you do not have to think that I'm just giving you vague nonsense.
Not challenging the AJ Brown catch in the eagles game which was a drop flipped the entire game. Then trying to block Reddick with a 4th string tight end ended our SB run. Let's move forward. You knew CMC would likely have a fumble in the SB. He was coming back from injury and it was obvious he was overdue to have a backbreaking play. Not knowing the rules in overtime In The second chiefs loss.
Let's go back to the first SB loss. The guy doesn't know how to manage the clock. Everybody cries about the Sanders overthrow by Jimmy g. It doesn't even matter if he caught it. That play call was so stupid. Let's say he catches it and gets a TD. You leave mahomes 1:45 left to get a fg and win the game. It's just throwing a down away and not knowing how to manage the clock...
There's 4 examples right there for you of poor coaching. That's not even including the veteran bias of not running Mason down the chiefs throat even through he was averaging 5ypc...
He's just good enough to choke. Just like romo.
