This idea of over using athletes is a trend that's gotten out of hand. It seems like the more they get paid the more rest they need. Every sport is giving players rest. In baseball it's sometimes one game a week. In basketball we see games where stars are held out even if they're healthy. I understand the injury concerns but there's the possibility of injury whenever they play. Players get hurt even away from the play. It's a violent sport and injuries are a big part of it. You need to play your best and presumably highest paid players as much as you can. Trying to save them for the playoffs can result in not making the playoffs.

Boy how I hate to agree with Cowherd.

Kyle has done a remarkable job this season with all the Injuries he's had to deal with.

If Kyle can have us win this game his worst critics should be in here rethinking their stance.

49ers so outgunned in this one there is no realistic way the team should be competitive let alone win it.

I'll be curious just how much the team can do with who we'll have out there.

I like Kyle for the most part, just can't stand him in Superbowls lol. I am not optimistic about this game, I think we make the playoffs and fade out. Another cursed season. We really needed to win it all in Vegas, who knows when we will ever be back:/.

Does it work the other way ? Like if you have a loaded roster going into a SB but still manage to find a way to lose ? Or maybe if you have a 10 point lead with a quarter left to play with a shot at either making the SB or winning it outright ? Should his fans rethink their stance, or find 1000 other things to blame for those unfortunate outcomes ?

Cue the [Greenlaw/refs/JimmyG/Mahomes/etc] in 3,2,1…
