49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

My only criticism from the game yesterday was how he managed the end of the half. Should have ran the clock out and gone to the locker room. Very lucky they didn't gift NY 3 points there. Otherwise, another masterclass in play calling. Really hope guys can heal up as we go down the stretch.

Yeah, Kyle can be lax when it comes to clock management lol, so no real surprise there. Good thing is, NYG kicker bailed us out lol.

Wally, watch CMC on the sidelines. He hates being taken off the field. He would play both ways if he could. It isn't Shanahan burning him out, he burns himself out.

This kind of stuff drives me crazy with Kyle. He's just too stubborn or arrogant to learn. Not sure which one it is

LOL I read that he gets really frustrated / upset if he's on the sidelines for more than a snap or 30 seconds

This is the time / year tho, Shanny needs to tell his child, NO! Relax son!!
If the rams win by less than 7 I will be truly shocked and I will shut up about Shanahan.

but only for the rest of the year.

If Niners win, you'll chill for 2 years

One good thing about CMC tho, is after a play, if he needs a breather, he raises has R index finger and heads to the sideline. I think CMC does a really good job of pacing himself, and heads for the sideline when he is out of gas.

That is really critical with a guy like McCaff, because when a player is tired is when he is most liable to get injured. I think , like others. that it would be nice to give him more rest. But no question, when he shouldn't be out there, he heads for the sidelines. Don't want to jinx him but he does a good job of pacing himself. But yeah, I'd like to see him take a bit more time off. Just to be safe.

Dude is like an elevator... I remember he was kind of a homer for couple years, then a hater the past couple years. Watch him become a lover after we win 11 or 12 games and stomp into the playoffs

Yeah I think both he and Shanny have showed at times that they are trying to consider past injuries and health wise... doing better than previous years, They have to

If the Colts were not as good as they are I would agree. If they keep it up it needs to go to Shane Steichen because literally nobody saw what they have been doing coming.

Does Kyle yell at Purdy?
