Than in 23? I disagree.

Just faced a team that is god awful in the secondary. Aren't gonna face that every week. Need the weapons back healthy for whoever the QB is.

Lmao here we go.

Before the game: "Rams are world-beating Super Bowl contenders! Their pass rush is the best in all of history! 49ers with no WR's have no shot!!"

After the game: "Who cares? Rams aren't that good anyway."

This is literally 2019 all over again. Every team we played got massively hyped before we played them and then instantly labeled a fraud the moment we beat them just so everyone could say "49ers haven't beaten anyone yet!"

Imagine coming in here and whining after a win like that… are you allergic to joy or something? Why even watch football?

He gets joy in being right. And since he's been saying fire Kyle and that Kyle's horrible well he's been dead wrong since then. Therefore no joy. He doesn't root for the 49ers he roots to be right.

He lost 2 Superbowls.

Super Bowl losses don't count as negative Super Bowl championships. Fans like you who think they somehow do are truly special.

By your logic the Denver Broncos are a less successful franchise than the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans lmao

Wasn't anything I said. I have never thought the Rams defense was as good as others. Their back 7 is awful.

Only teams right now that are for sure better than 9ers are Lions and Eagles. Even this injured bunch can compete with the rest.

this is our year, baby. When we get healthy - we will destroy anyone. Also, we need to trade for Hutchinson.

Yah the Lions aren't doing that. Assume you mean Hendrickson.

You would think you'd be avoiding this thread like the plague given your track record in it...imagine coming in here and that's your takeaway.

Cuz i'm sure had Kyle drawn up a pass play and it resulted in a safety or incompletion to stop the clock you wouldn't be in here saying what an idiot Kyle is for not trying to run the clock out.

Can't ban people because they don't agree with your takes. That's not how the rules work around here.

Kyle said specifically he called the sneak to avoid the possibility of a safety given the pressure the Rams had been bringing. A RB play would have had the same impact. A pass play, if incomplete, would have saved a time out for the Rams. Hence, the safe call was what he made. Don't judge the call by the results. Judge it by whether it was the correct call given the situation and circumstances.

Talking nfc. I don't know this team has the horses for a SB fully healthy. No point to worry about afc right now.

i agree on all the run plays, but dang, call a better run play than just a HB Blast.

Final timeout wasn't weren't really that relevant. They were gonna get in field goal range with or without one.

Seeing as how in Mac's last start the team had a safety I can see why a Kyle would be gunshy against a far superior pass rush group.

We'll never know but they had to kick the FG on 3rd and 10 instead of 4th and 10. Had they had another timeout they would've had another shot at the endzone. A TD or DPI and they win or have a chance to win right there.

I think it was the right call though a part of me wanted us to go for it on 3rd down. Glad we didn't live to regret the decision.

He was trying to get room.

What would you have said if we gave up a safety there.

I was wondering if that was going to be Kyle's decision. They'd still be up by 1, then be able to free kick it deep into Rams territory with 0 time outs left...but still way too much time on the clock.

Teams can get into FG range way too quickly in today's NFL. The intentional safety on 4th down is probably a loss to a FG 25-23.

What would have been a better running play? They weren't gaining anything on the ground all night.
It's wild Kyle needs to be defended when the team is 4-1. Just beat a really good opponent on a short week with the JV squad. Some of these posters man they just wanna suck the fun out of a crazy win like that.

Eagles had an entirely healthy offense and barely squeaked by them at home.

Reality is the 9ers current coaches are just insanely good. If the players can just start improving their execution across the board they will be in SB mix again in 26. Just use this year for experience and improvement for all the young guys.
