Wasn't anything I said. I have never thought the Rams defense was as good as others. Their back 7 is awful.

Only teams right now that are for sure better than 9ers are Lions and Eagles. Even this injured bunch can compete with the rest.

A pass play, if incomplete, would have saved a time out for the Rams. Hence, the safe call was what he made. Don't judge the call by the results. Judge it by whether it was the correct call given the situation and circumstances.

Final timeout wasn't weren't really that relevant. They were gonna get in field goal range with or without one.

Seeing as how in Mac's last start the team had a safety I can see why a Kyle would be gunshy against a far superior pass rush group.

What would you have said if we gave up a safety there.

I was wondering if that was going to be Kyle's decision. They'd still be up by 1, then be able to free kick it deep into Rams territory with 0 time outs left...but still way too much time on the clock.

i agree on all the run plays, but dang, call a better run play than just a HB Blast.
