Kyle is so predictable that kids in the stands are calling out where the ball is going before the ball is hiked. He just can't stop calling plays that consistently do not work and he refuses to mix in players to keep defenses off balance but instead rides the same 2-3 players.
There's plenty of blame to go around, but the way the offense is run is a major part of it.

Matt Maiocco made a good point in ther post game show regarding the Niners lack of running. In Kyle's system the WRs are expected to do a lot of the blocking on those edge runs. Having so many new faces at WR and missing Kittle who is a great run blocker has greatly affected the running game. They can't get anything on the edges so teams are able to stuff the middle. We've seen the result.
That makes sense since this O line is the same group that we had last year. They were #12 in rushing and #9 in yards per attempt last season with Kittle, Deebo and Jennings. Now they have no Kittle or Deebo and Jennings has been in and out of the lineup with injuries. I know Williams hasn't looked great so far this year and Puni isn't having the same success but I really think that not having those receivers on the edge who know how to block is a major factor.

lol if play like they did vs Jags offense, Stafford is gonna shred this defense. And LAR's defense isn't any easier. BUT playing the Rams has always been a get-right game for the 9ers.
Yeah, it's hard to see us beating the Rams with no pass rush.

Brock's going to have Verse and those guys in his face all day. Sure hope he starts to run more and not just sit there.
Also want to see more from both Robinson's. Don't understand why we signed and traded for them if we're not going to use them more. CMC can play more WR as well because the runs aren't working.

The inconsistency at WR is really hurting us. The injuries have really been a pain and yesterday's game showed it with all the sloppy play.
Mac at least has the history with Bourne to lean on. Purdy was limited a lot so not sure how much he even got to play with KB. I still can't get over his huge drop on the 3rd down right before the punt return TD.
2 absolutely BRUTAL turns in that game. Ferrell fumble, followed by Etienne TD run then the Bourne drop followed by the return TD. Two massive swings. Totally different game if either swing doesn't happen.
Very frustrating knowing we really should be 4-0 right now.

I think you should have said we could have been 4-0. There's no way they should be 4-0 after the way they played yesterday. It's nerarly kmpossible tho win in ther NFL when you lose the TO battle 4-0. Throw in a rare long punt return for a TD and the Niners are lucky they were even in position to win at the end of the game.

Kyle is a guy that builds a big complex clockwork machine. When every cog is in order, shiny, lubricated, brass, it works spectacularly, but if one or two cogs are missing, uncoordinated or rusty, the machine breaks down and sputters.

Not worried about Purdy at all.

Other than that they played a good game.

We couldn't stop the run yesterday. We could have won with the turnovers without the long rushing TD and the punt return TD.
We shouldn't have been in a position to win with the 4 turnovers, but the Jaguars aren't a great offensive team and had a bunch of penalties that kept us alive. Out played and out coached.
