Kyle doesn't throw interceptions or fumbles. He doesn't drop passes. He does however decline penalties when they ought to declined. He is not the reason we lost today. We don't need a new coach. We need our players on the field and not always injured. We need our our qb to play much much better. If he is not capable of better we need to find better. The least of our concerns is Kyle.
So when you say "we need our players on the field and not always injured"....guess whos responsible for picking those players ? Yes, its Kyle. Just as Andy Reid is responsible for picking Sky Moore, so is Kyle for picking players we have and -arguably - their injury propensity.
The person responsible for special teams and not cutting Moody early ? Yes, its also Kyle
"We need to find better"...um guess who is responsible for finding a better QB ? Yes, its Kyle again. Not "we", but Kyle. We also saw what happened when he tried to find a better QB at cost of three first round picks. Yes, that's also on Kyle and only Kyle.
Being a head coach is being responsible for all those things. Kyle hasnt been great at many of these. What he has been good at is as an offensive minded guy.
Well, the problem is right now the offense is stale, old and cant run block - and running the ball is the most important thing for this offense, as playaction and LB manipulation is at core of Shanahan schemes. We were told oline is fine. Yes, missing Kittle hurts. Yes, both QBs banged up hurts.
Kyle needs something to revitalize this offense and he needs it fast. Think Deebo at RB, think trading for CMC. Something innovative to throw teams off. CMC isnt scaring ANYONE right now and spamming him up the gut or outside zone for little gain does nothing.

We don't need anything innovative this time. We need some dam o lineman that can block.

Yup
Moody, Brendel, Lucas, Pinnock, Luter, not keeping other guys but keeping scrubs, not drafting center / LT for long time = Kyle
I'm not one of the crowd saying fire Kyle, never was, but those are things (there's a lot more other things as well) that he has control of

Agreed. And we've been begging to get a solid safety in here, but they probably still won't. They also should have kept Chaz Surratt

Worried so much about cap space, what about the season at hand. f**k!!!! Upgrade that Safety spot!!! Spend some cap and get back on track, Pinnock is not helping this team or helping out Sigle.

lol if play like they did vs Jags offense, Stafford is gonna shred this defense. And LAR's defense isn't any easier. BUT playing the Rams has always been a get-right game for the 9ers.

Agree but in this game Purdy missed 2 TD's the first 2 times they were in the red zone.

Shanahan said he signaled to the refs clearly that he wanted to decline the penalty in the 2nd quarter that would've forced a 3rd & 12: "They told me they messed up."
— Kyle Posey (@KP_Show) September 28, 2025
Once Shanahan called a timeout, the refs couldn't reverse the call.
He also said, "I wish we woulda got that…

That has been the big problem of the team the last two seasons.
It's just uninspiring.
And it doesn't help that the O-Line has been bad on run block this season.
This redzone problem and the special teams are killing the team.
