These close wins while having so many key players out shows how well Kyle has the team playing. I still can't tell what the latest iteration of the offense is supposed to look like, now that there's no more Deebo and the push to sign a second TE this past offseason - after failing to sign Brock Wright to an offer sheet and double dipping at TE with Latu/Willis the past couple offseasons. With Kittle being out most of the first three games, it remains to be seen the vision Kyle had when he went out to pair up Kittle with Farrell.

It hasn't been good but having Kittle out doesn't help. He's responsoble for a lot of the blocks that open thise runs. With him out they have to use Tonges who isn't a good blocker or Ferrell who can block but isn't a good receiver.

Schematically it's been a mess and it's amazing that we're 3-0 despite of it.

We have almost nobody that threatens defenses in the passing game. Pearsall has been playing great but a lot of his receptions have been with tight coverage on him. There is nobody else out there that concerns a defense. Yeah when JJ is out there he's a baller but he's missed a bunch of time against the two toughest teams we've played so far and our running game felt the pain of that.
