But if we were to play KC tomorrow, Vegas would once again have us as the favorites by probably 2.5 points. The reason why I would never consider KC a dynasty is because true dynasties are always the favorite like when New England was a dynasty and the 49'ers were a dynasty. They were always the favorite because they were the better teams. KC is never the favorite because they are not a great team. I personally do not think Patrick Mahomes is a great QB. KC and Patrick Mahomes get the calls from the refs because the NFL wants KC to win for reasons I will not discuss here. Which is why KC is never favored by Vegas because they truly are an inferior team.
Kyle makes them great though…

Kyle is KC's unsung hero.

lol. Definitely. He should be credited for helping build that dynasty…

I kinda agree with what you're saying. IMO, put in a different ref, say Alex Kemp, and I bet we have a different outcome. I knew the 9ers chances of winning was slim to none when they announced Bill Vinovich as ref.

Or a different coach on our sideline. Different outcome

We added Brandon Staley so our big game postseason clutch factor is addressed.

New name, The Nancy Whiners
I know I am in the minority here about this, but I actually like the Brandon Staley hire. I think he will bring more accountability to Shanahan. Someone like Staley probably would not have been afraid to speak up to Shanahan and let him know it would be best to defer in overtime, for example.

I like the hire but find it comical that you think he's brining accountability to KS. How do we know that Anthony Lynn or anybody else didn't tell KS to defer? In that situation KS isn't listening to anybody but himself in my opinion.

Your not in the minority, the minority is just louder. We earn our nickname of the whiners.

Sorensen could end up doing well. Not a bad choice. Staley adds what exactly? Whatever… if Kyle needs more losers around to feel better… have at it.

Amusement, strictly be for entertainment and bringing Shanny's coffee in the morning

Running stairs like Saleh? "You're hired!"

That part is all good, but the other stuff might be distracting

That cat stretch lol

Ummm well at least he is comfortable in his own skin

haha, it would be nice for Kyle to say, I need to and can do better, but he is usually very guarded with the media, except SB media day

I don't expect much from Staley, but I'm not as freaked out since he's not the actual DC. If he ends up being very good x's and o's where it helps Sorenson and we see good results on the field, I know we will all be happy about it.

Sorenson is probably the best Kyle could have done knowing he didn't want to change coaches or personnel etc. Very whatever, so we shall see.

In our last two super bowls against KC, how many offensive line holding calls were called against them? Yet they were one of the most penalized teams in that regard.

The 49'ers are the best NFL team in the history of the NFL. We have always been consistently the best.

And Joe Montana, Tom Brady, Steve Young have been the best. I would never want Patrick Mahomes as our QB. Like Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts, they can run the ball well but that's about it. They are not quality passers.

The Chiefs are just too good right now. They'll dominate for years to come the same way Brady and the Pats did.

Mahomes doesn't run the ball unless he needs to. He can make insane throws from anywhere and from any position. Montana has always been my guy but Mahomes is a different breed. He's changed his style from throwing deep a lot to throwing more short passes now that they don't have great receivers. He's shown he's adaptable.

They will be good unless something happens to their key player, but I don't think they are just too good. there are 3 or 4 strong teams which will put them to the best and beat them.

As for the posters who think it is clever to put forward that Shanahan is all about helping KC, several of them are supporters of other teams trolling here. Others are just whiners.
