Why do you waste 40 seconds and not try to get it closer for your rookie kicker or just punch it in with a timeout extra...

As far as I'm concerned I already knew we would lose as soon as not a single run was called with 3:31 left and the lead on a wet field...

That's like amateur don't know football stuff...

The biggest problem I had with that 3 min series was just the first down call. The rest of the series was dictated by it.

Very similar to the end of the 1st half possession we had, where we also mismanaged the clock mainly because of a 1st down* pass fail.

We were bad on early downs. Execution, penalties, and play selection at times.

So last week didn't happen huh?

TODAY'S GAME is when KS needed to be THAT HC and he wasn't... we won big last week and it was considered a BIG GAME.. let down usually happens and today, he needed to be THAT HC..

our PK missed the FG, but it didn't help that our HC could not come up w/the better game plan..

Need gameplans where you lose 52-10 instead

no, you need players then.. and we have the players here..

85 was not used.. 44 was not used..

WELL, at least he's coming home to you w/a Time Out..
That 2nd to last drive play-calling was absolutely atrocious from Shanahan. 3 runs would've made a huge difference.

A ton of the bad offense was losing on 1st down. Browns DL simply owned the OL on majority of 1st down calls.

As you said, the 1st down pass call failing is what dictated the other pass calls. Goes to show how important 1st down is for offenses.
Shannyn is Schwartz's b***h! 1-9

EXACTLY... we had no rights throwing the ball on 1st down when we could have been run to use up the clock..

Especially in a slog like that game. Almost felt like we half committed to what was probably a real conservative gameplan.

Oh well. Get right game against the Vikes defense next week.

3 runs would have won the game most likely. Mason could have carried it 5-6 times and straight ended the game
Loss was mostly in KS. His decisions really cost us this game.

Somebody gets it!

Run blocking was smoked too. CMC lead the team with 43 yards and left the game. You stop the run, you stop Kyle's offense. We have to play to our weaknesses after that.
Kyle is a genius..uh huh

For some reason, I get nervous everytime Kyle has a 10 point lead.
I had brought this up earlier in the week, I was worried how the team would come out after a Big Win High. They didn't disappoint me.
