Not allowing a single sack against that DL was pretty Impressive tbh.

If we can find a way to protect and keep our QBs upright like that next season, there's no stopping us.

For a team that relies on YAC, meaning throw short and let WRs run, and pounding the rock on the ground.. it really shouldn't be this hard

me every time I come in here and see all these nerds triggered by Shanny. I love my headcoach.

It's because Eddie held his coaches accountable. Whether it was justified is another debate. I'm sorry but to me constantly losing in the playoffs in not success. All it does is lower our draft position, make us bleed coaches, and pay out a hefty sum to a beefed up roster that is almost good enough.

what's the definition of insanity again ?

So Walsh should've been fired after losing to the Vikes?

Once the 49ers get that "hold the DL on every play without any flags being thrown" boost-up, they'll be unstoppable.
4F6 ignores mahomes ankle .. continues to post Reid Kept his QB clean lol

no sacks allowed.. Mahomes ran the ball I believe and he had the ankle for weeks now, played fine on it even had a long run on the final drive.. trophy going to KC
so since there are no sacks Mahomes injured ankle never happened ? lol

Since there was no sacks, KC won the game. Mahomes would tell you the ankle don't feel as bad as the SB win feels good. If there was another game next week Mahomes wouldn't even be on the injury list lol.

They won the game because Mahomes made the game winning play with his legs.

From a locker room/player perspective. Sure. They aren't making halftime adjustments. But to pretend like coaches are not making halftime adjustments based on what the other team was showing in the 1st half is just naive. There is no way to know for sure how the defense is going to play the offense at the start of the game. Coaches like Reid and Kyle run the scripted plays in order to see how the defense is going to defend them and then they adjust according to that. That is what makes them so good at what they do. Honestly, it should come to no surprise why our games are usually closer in the 1st half and then we tend to pull away in the 2nd half. Its not just by chance.

Explain what was vastly different? I'm not saying they don't change anything either. I've listen to multiple former players say the whole second half adjustments take is more fluff for the media then what actually happens.

I'm not gonna pretend I'm in the locker room or a HC saying f**k it let's change what we've practice doing all week based off what we saw for two QRs. Smaller tweaks and easy adjustments make more sense in the grand scheme of how it goes down. That's all I'm saying (and what players have said).

Like I said. I am not referring to what happens in the locker room during halftime. And to pretend like coaches don't make adjustments based on what the opponent is doing is just naive.

So the chiefs offense scores 7 points in the 1st half and then turns around and scores 24 points in the 2nd half. If no adjustments are made schematically, what happened then? Chiefs offense just miraculously started playing better? Eagles defense just laid down and folded for them?

Crocker talked about it today. He noticed Mahomes was shortening his drops (compared to what the play call would usually call for). Mahomes has pocket presence and a great internal clock. He recognized that he had to speed up his drops. That's just being an elite QB.

I want to make sure that every single kyle complainer saw Reid calling for a backup TE to block Reddick last night…because it happened

Yup.. which shows the ankle was fine

KC gonna be a problem going forward, but fortunately for KS and us a lot of the elite QBs are in the AFC, NFC pretty open

To me YAC, KC had the ball for 8 mins first half. KS will role up TOP like this on ppl. Move the sticks, long drives mentality. PHI couldn't sustain it.. it was a pretty crazy pace, eventually KC got their possessions. PHI D got whupped all night, coverage, OL, pressures, run D, they got worked.

6 play TD drive
7 play missed FG drive
3 and out punt
5 and out punt.

Yea. They really worked that eagles D in the first half. 😅 Eagles offense had only 1 more possession than the chiefs did in the 1st half.

I wouldn't ignore the TOP.. 2nd qtr was 13 mins PHI 2 mins KC

hard to get in rhythm when you don't have the ball more than 2 mins in a quarter

KS does this to teams with TOP we see it from time to time, good way to keep a great QB off the field

Then they had a 17 play drive that resulted in 3 whole points.

Controlling the ball really only matters if you are doing something with it. KC did things with it in the 2nd half.

I think the first half TOP mattered.. it's a big reason why PHI was up 10 at the break, even with a historically bad play would have been more without that
