Nothing I have seen tells me this team is about to take a nose dive.
What question do we have at QB ? Don't be naive. We still don't have a QB

There is no way to have the #1 defense for next year when next year has even started. Plus we have 12 URFA players on defense, 7 of those being starters or have started for us

25 total FA

Offensive weapons need a QB.. we all seen how this offense runs without a QB

it's not about being pessimistic, it's just looking at reality.

I get it. You are a pessimist. Its all good. I will continue to believe in this team and you can continue to doubt them. Brock Purdy showed enough to know that we have a QB. Your pessimistic mentality falsely tells you otherwise. We had the #1 defense and there really isn't any reason to believe that they are going to fall off a cliff anytime soon. Again, you can continue to doubt them without any real reason to do so. That is your prerogative.

I think 2 QBs both injured at present are legit question marks it's being realistic as he mentioned, that's all there is to it. These dudes have 9 starts between them which is like half of one regular season.. Lot of range of outcomes, good and bad, hard to say for sure what we got.

Reality/perception is in the eye of the beholder. If all you think is negative than all you see is negative and all you experience is negative. Reality is all subjective. There is no such thing as a concrete reality. So like I said, if you choose to be a pessimist, that is your prerogative. Brock Purdy elevated Kyle's offense like we haven't seen since 2016. Dude was adapting and learning in game. If you are too blind by pessimism to see that, that is on you.
stop.. come back to reality bud. You have no idea how the future is going to unfold. so stop acting like you do.

And there is concrete reality.. example... the glass is half full and half empty... The concrete reality is that glass is not going to get filled and not going to get emptied no matter how you feel about it

Cold hard glass of REALITY, right here

If you're mad about that one, you should be just as mad about blowing a 10 point lead with less than 10 min left.

A 10 point lead against a great team is with a HOF calibur Qb is understandable. Getting trucked by a comparatively average team where you need a power outage to regroup to even get back into it is not.

9ers were 4 pt favorites vs Ravens vs 1.5 pt dogs vs KC. Not comparable.

Their QB was playing better than Mahomes though lol. Isn't it the best playoff run of all time by a QB? Their defense had just got done shutting down Luck Manning and Brady in order. Vegas it wrong they underestimated how hot the Ravens were and how bad our defense had been since the injuries. Giving up 30+ was no surprise, that became routine for us at that point.

Getting punked with 10 minutes left was the biggest nut punch dude. I don't get how that's okay compared to running into the hottest team with no pass rush.

The entire conversation started by him telling me why my positive outlook goes against the odds and how all these "question marks" we have going into next season are reason enough not to be optimistic. His glass half full/half empty spiel had nothing to do with him standing on middle ground as you are trying to suggest.

Manning put up 35. Hardly shut them down. They were a slightly above average defense who the 9ers made look amazing because they were so ill prepared.

The 9ers were getting trucked in that game. It's a 20 point blowout if the power never goes out. Getting blown out by a team you are 4 point favorites again vs losing to an elite offense who was the favorite are 2 completely different things.

Quality of opponent matters. A #1 overall seed with a future HOF QB or a 10-6 team with a QB who got hot ill grant but was still Joe freaking Flacco.

Why is it always our coaching staff that teams poach off of? There are 31 other teams in the league.

As long as Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch are running the show, I have absolutely no reason to doubt the team. All reports I have read said Trey will be ready to go at the start of OTA's and Purdy will be ready by the end of July. You want to doubt Trey and Brock, that's fine. Fans also had unfounded concerns about the O line going into the 2022 season. That group turned out to be a top 10 unit inspite of all the unknowns and all the misguided criticism. People are too afraid and negative about the unknown. I thrive in it. All we have as fans is the ability to believe or not believe. I would rather continue to give off positive vibes.

Yes Joe Flacco in god mode against a defense that had been getting torched. If the pass rush was healthy I'd agree with you, but Vegas odds aren't going to make me think the Ravens weren't playing the best ball in the NFL. Foles won against Brady, sometimes a QB is just playing well.

Manning didn't have a good game by his standards. Less than 7 YPA and a 88 rating. He only put up 21 points, they had 2 kick returns that game. That defense went through 3 hof level QBs easily.

I'm not trying to put one over the other, I just find it funny that you excuse Kyles SB when we were up by 10 with less than 10 min left and ended up losing by double digits. Talk about a meltdown

I don't excuse it I realize the Chiefs were a much better team than the Ravens. Chiefs were down to the Texans big too. Mahomes is so good he can come back on anyone anytime.

When you are getting housed by an inferior team I see that as worse.
