BCB is the only QB so far that has been able to unlock and free Shanny to be a creative evil offensive genius.... big difference is football IQ and rapid processing that BCB has

You see what PHI is doing with Hurts? Lance can be at least that good. Now I'm rolling with Brock but I ain't trading Trey

Absolutely no reason to trade Trey. With the way we go through QB's, we would be dumb to trade him away.

Right. Develop both guys on the cheap and keep kicking butt league wide!

We can afford it.

That is pretty damn cheap for a young promising QB room.

Trey is scheduled to make $20 mil in the next two seasons......Purdy is set to make just about a measly $2 mil. And is a team is willing to give the 9ers a 1st round pick you do it or even two 2nd round picks. Lance's play and production can easily be replaced, we're just banking on his potential which will never come to fruition because the 9ers have a star QB already in Brock Purdy.

NFL QB is the hardest position to replace. Not sure why you think its easy. Kyle has drafted/signed some terrible QBs, no guarantee he finds one better.

Agree 💯%, and if Kyle thinks Trey can get better, who is to argue with that - specially how he found Purdy and developed Mullens and BeatHard. As far as I know, they are still in the NFL and the game between Philly and NYGiants, the only guys that scored (I think) were former 49ers. I think the only time ShanaLynch would trade Trey is if he plateued in his development, or somebody offers them something they can't refuse. I'm still a huge believer in Trey, and I think he can still be another Franchise QB.

You serious, so far with a 1-4 record and decent at best can't be replaced?? There's gonna be some good options for back up that can't easily replace his production and play for far less than $10 mil a year. Purdy has more than proved himself to earn a multi-million dollar contract. Shoot, CJ Beathard on a s**ttier team did more than Trey Lance on a better team. Stop kidding yourself.

Nope. Not even for a 1st round pick. This team is stacked and has proven to not only be able to draft in the middle and late rounds but also have the ability to develop those players. We are stacked plus we have depth at many positions. Including QB for the first time in the Kyle Shanahan era.

No, thank you. I think we should most definitely keep Trey and decide whether or not to execise his 5th year option. which could be used to leverage a trade later when we truly have to make a decision on which QB to give a second contract to.

So you say no to a trade now for a 1st round pick, but think WITH Brock Purdy at the helm, hold onto Trey Lance and probably get something better?? Oh great plan.

So for less than $10 mil you're telling me the 9ers can't find a better back up than Trey Lance?? The same Trey Lance that has barely played in three seasons?? And people tell me I'm biased. My god.

Cooper Rush is set to become a free agent, I'd outbid any team than give Trey Lance $10 mil.

You are obviously not understanding the value I am attempting to present to you. We are never getting back what we spent on Trey. We have a young cheap dynamic QB room and a stacked roster. The first and only goal is to win SB's. Shanahan has had 1 season out of 6 where we rode with QB1 throughout the entire season and playoffs. Trey is better than any backup we could sign through FA. We wouldn't even really be saving all that much anyway trading Trey and finding a competent backup to replace him.

one negative effective of the rise of BCB is that every game he wins only reduces our trade leverage with Lance, so we will be stuck with him now... my hope is that Ran is still a believer in the religion of Trey and gives us a conditional 2nd so we can move him and cut our losses
