49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan Thread

I disagree. He doesn't get the ball thrown to him enough to really judge him. The anemic QB play couples with abysmal play calling is terrible. Put Aiyuk on a good offense with a good QB and he has 1,000 yard seasons every year.

That is all I am.asko g for, a good QB. Kirk Cousins level. We can't even achieve that because our offensive architect is no so smart.

Must have missed last Monday night. He was trying to throw an interception on every pass. Which is kind of difficult to do when you have Jefferson and thielen lol

It's only 3rd. We haven't even been eliminated from postseason yet. Everyone is ready to tear it all down already. I need to take a break from the WZ so much ridiculous takes it's not even funny.
This isn't an excuse, but hopefully some reason for optimism.

Kyle generally takes the tendancies of a DC and schemes plays that uses their rules against them.

Not only is there limited tape as the season is new, but we've faced brand new Co-Ordinators who haven't got any tape out there.

I expect us to improve just with more tape/familiar opponents.

Yessir. Nothing more familiar than McVay

I'd be ok with that. He would be missed but the offenelse would be explosive.

Let Lamar Cook?

I'd love to watch Lance grow. I'd hate to watch it at the expense of our core group of guys aging out of their prime.

Can you imagine what he'd be able to do with a guy like this next year leading the offense?

Pretty much zero possibilities, as they'd just franchise tag him.

BigMac, what you said is all true. Let's hope it translates.
Question....

How many plays was Deebo lined up as a running back where he didnt get the ball? More than zero?

I remember him distinctly running 1 wheel route out of the backfield.

So one?

Kyle was so predictable last night.

A lot... until Trey got injured.

I think we need to loosen up on the win now stuff. We have a great squad and a lot of that squad was picked when it seemed maybe we could do this with Jimmy. But we moved on. I still think those hating on Trey will eat crow in two to three years. It's a tough thing to swallow but the truth is some of these guys may be gone to higher paying teams in the future. We just need to make it one more year with no one pick (It really went by fast actually) or depend on FA to continue to be in it. The CAP is growing.

Nothing new but look at the Bills, look at ole Miami (will it last) the Chargers (well some little issues this early year) but you have to pay the piper to get the QB. The less you think in a year or two Cinderella turns in the slipper and we are back to basement hags the better. That's not the case.

I think he's been predictable every time normally Deebo gets it like you were alluding to. Last year it seemed like if 19 was in the backfield he was getting it but it still somehow worked. This year it's not so Kyle needs to start just using Deebo as a decoy occasionally

I meant last night. Sorry for not stating what I meant.
