So if Trey can come back in 8-10 weeks and we are winning, do you send Jimmy back to the bench?

If it was just the ankle, Trey should have a good chance to be back to 100%. Atleast it wasn't a knee getting blown up.

Thank God.

It's all part of his genius bro! They'll never expect it, probably because it's a stupid ass decision
It was a zone read and Trey kept the ball with the DE keying on him.

Something is clearly wrong. If Trey was Kyle's choice then it's his responsibility to scout, develop, and use him. And protect his health as a key long term need as the franchise QB. He failed in this regard by calling plays that dramatically increased the probability of injury to Trey.
If Trey wasn't Kyle's choice, then it's a different issue. Kyle is missing influence skills in a major way. Or the organization is f'ed up.
Every possible scenario indicates a major issue

GREAT POST.
Threre is nothing good about this situation, any way you look at it. Something stinks and it does not bode well for the future.

He spent a ton of draft capital on a qb only to use him as a battering ram. At the very least, he needs to explain himself.
No answer he gives will ever satisfy you, and you know it. You want blood.
This is a franchise with 5 Lombardis; not the Texans or Lions. He needs to be questioned and held accountable. End of.
Havent won a Lombardi in 30 years. 49er fan hubris needs to take a step back and appreciate a talented HC instead of thinking the grass is greener on the other side. Other side is usually Kelly, Tomsula, Nolan or Singletary.

Dude is a f**king clown. All that draft capital to run your QB up the gut multiple times and run some bull s**t HC offense. The real offensive mastermind is in Miami.

Personally I don't want trey coming back and playing under shannahan. I want to see trey developed under a legit offensive coach who knows how to use a mobile QB.
