We need five or six starters in all. We have five picks in the first three rounds and $100 million cap space. If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel then I can't help you.
If ShanaLynch pass on QB in 2018 (in the draft and free agency) I'll have a heart attack. If we ignore the o-line I'll crap my pants. If we don't bring another WR in here I'll puke.
Right now is the wrong time to have a heart attack, puke or crap your pants yet many of us are doing all three at once. It's messy. Real messy. Just calm down and enjoy the rebuild.

Except your logic goes completely against your point.
If Belichick has been beating things into his team for so long then how could they possibly commit that many penalties? Must mean he's a bad HC right?
The idea that coaches are responsible for penalties is idiotic. Certainly when it comes to the type of penalties this team has been committing. Holding penalties, offsides penalties, PI calls are not coaching related. No coaches teach their guys to get flagged.
Where you can possibly put it on coaching being lax is if guys are getting personal foul penalties, illegal formation and presnap penalties. We haven't really had those.
Not to mention our team is full of young players learning a new system. That leads to more penalties than a seasoned team with few young guys on it.

This is shanny's first rodeo so i'm not sure if he has it yet. We haven't seen that.
And yet your point was basically coaches get blame for players not executing and committing penalties.
One of the best HCs ever just had his team get 12 penalties and turned the ball over....maybe just maybe it's not all on the coaches?

It's only on the coaches if they're coaching SF.

Sometimes I think about the things said on here and then I remember that critical thinking skills are scarce, unfortunately. That is one of the reasons it is so easy to succeed in America lol competition is usually lousy
Over 3/4 of the starting Offense wasn't here last season. They were brought in by our KS through F/A spending and the draft. They avg less than a TD per game and are at the bottom of the league in most measurable statistics. Our HC is also the OC. We are 0-4. Who's at fault?
Oh that's right your critical thinking is to complain about my post.

Basically this. I could hand them a $100 bill and they would complain that it wasn't split into 4 20s, a 10, a 5 and 5 1s like they need it to be. Complaining now so that if Shanahan fails they can say "called it!" They'd rather the 49ers fail and be considered right all the time than inject even a little patience into the process. It's the very definition of foolish short-sightedness.

What youre saying is asinine. Lol Kyle never said this is going to be his championship squad, he said the opposite. That we have a long way to go. You don't get a team of champions in one off season when your team was as bad as last years team. He got a bunch of cheap players that were better than last year and cut some players to give young guys experience.
I guess you expected to be a champion this year? Lol if you're expecting that, you should stop watching for a while cause you'll just be crying every day.

Why are we talking about the defending champion Patriots?
NE had 12 penalties in 1 game so what? On September 12th 2009 (made up) Tom Brady threw 3 picks how dare you say that Hoyer is struggling right now. 5 rings will buy you a bad game. Jeez.
I forgot Shanny has already earned Bill B/ Walsh respect based off the 5 1st downs we have this year.

The OL has actually not been that bad. Bottom line is Hoyer has been horrendous and there is no way he should be the QB next season.
