I feel like the national media is giving our team more respect than our own fanbase right now.
Says a lot about our fanbase at the moment
yes. excuse us fans if we were hoping for something better than the crap kyle has rolled out. excuse us fans if we are not as happy as others at our 0-4 record with the very realistic plight of being 0-16. I understand that this year is going to form for many people and i am super glad they are happy with the way things are going
Three coaching staff turnovers the previous 3 seasons and a GM who should have been selling hot dogs is enough for me to realize Kyle is the mistake after 1 off season and 4 games....... I am wondering if you are a York.

That's because the national media expected us to be historically bad, so they see just being really bad as a remarkable improvement. Our fanbase was deluded enough to think this team had a chance to be as good as 6-10, so now they're incredibly disappointed. It's all about your initial expectations.
Actually, the people who are complaining/ripping this team the most are the ones who thought we would be historically bad anyway...

The national media does not even watch our games. They look at the stat sheets and PFF.

and so far, they are being proven right. they take no pleasure in being proven right,. at this point in time. they were smart enough not to run around saying.. this is a 6 7 8 9 win team, this feels like 2011, our secondary could end up like 1981, oh do not worry about all of the issues in pre season.. in the regular season kyle and lynch will unleash the beast

Predicting 6 wins isn't unreasonable... you can be a bad team and still go 6-10. Heck we started 0-5 in 2010 and finished 6-10. I'm kind of hoping that doesn't happen here because a good draft pick would do wonders.

I thought we would be better. 6-9 wins. Improved d, solid run game, all that was needed was good qb play. Hoyer has fell short.

I had the bar set at 4-5 wins before the season started, and I don't even think they can manage that. People are laughing at me for expecting a Superbowl though

I honestly thought the current talent was adequate for a 6-8 win season. I don't know if thats feasible now. In my opinion, the QB play has been the biggest disappointment. I know there have been dropped passes and penalties.....but strong QB play could have overcame those. All the offseason talk about Hoyer, I've never seen him play prior, made me feel like he had a chance at being the future at QB.

He was never supposed to be the future. However, I did have an expectation that he'd play at least at a slightly below average level kind of like how he did in Cleveland. I was wrong. He is total garbage.
There is not much difference between him and Gabbert right now. It's the same fundamental issues.

Even though I expected Hoyer to be decent I didn't expect more than 5 wins at most. We have a tough schedule. I thought maybe 3 wins.

It makes you wonder why we didn't sign Gabbert to another year and had him compete w/Hoyer..
