If it was up to me Kyle stays put until his contract is up or hopefully longer.
lots of good candidates still waiting around for a GM job. I'm shocked that we didn't hire Ron Wolf's son. Think he turned us down or something, can't remember/
Who do you see that is good that is waiting for a job right now?
"Ron Wolf's son?"
His name is Eliot and he is now learning more about the job as an assistant to Cleveland GM John Dorsey.
For the record, he had a chance at the Green Bay job but they did not feel he was qualified. "Obviously the people up there don't think he's worthy or they would've hired him. End of discussion." He spent 13 years in one of the best operations in football and he still wasn't considered competent to be a GM.

You are welcome to you opinion but supporting it with facts would be helpful to the thread.
He is already years ahead in development over Lynch who is learning to be GM from himself while acting as GM.
No other team in the NFL had any interest in Lynch as a GM or in any player personnel role.
The original point was that E Wolf was not the slam-dunk GM despite his pedigree. Packer brass realized he was nowhere close to being ready and sent him packing. So he winds up in Cleveland via connections there instead of interning in some bank in southern Wisconsin.
As to Lynch; it isn't like he had never seen how a good GM operates. Quite the contrary, as a lead network analyst, he was constantly talking football with GMs and staff as he went around the league. He was not the raw rookie some portrayed him to be. The fact he realized the importance of quality staff around him proved that point.
It is my belief that now that Kyle has had a chance to tweak the coaching staff, we are going to see a much higher level of performance from some of the guys Lynch has brought in.
