Here's how I view the roster right now, locks, battling, & longshots...

Ha, that about sums it up...about 49 of the 53 we all agree on and then 4 we all differ on. 92% of the roster is set!

I'm going to have to rethink the whole Aaron Lynch being a lock, if he comes in shape, yes, if he's out of shape, then he is on bubble/battling, or flat out cut his arse.

Also, damn Idk why we cut KD Cannon, wonder if he wasn't in the shape they thought he'd be in, but then why sign him in the first place? I guess he didn't look good enough to warrant a spot on the 90 man roster. And I had Cannon early on as a 1st rd pick.

Seems like first KNBR article that gave me a couple things to note which I wasn't aware about.
Niners DL were told to come in at a weight they're comfortable playing at according to Thomas, also Brooks and Lynch spend most of the practice with the DL. So that tells me Brooks and Lynch will play RDE, Malcolm Smith/Harold/Watson at SAM?

Hmmm, maybe. The SAM and LEO will be very interchangeable though (the two pass rushing positions) so who knows.
Alright, so now we're up to 92 again? 2 more cuts cometh?

You still have K.D. Cannon listed under WRs on the roster, and Bret Treadway listed under C. Both were cut.

I understand but if they're spending MOST of their time, I think that's a pretty big hint and want more explosiveness from the SAM...someone with a lil more sideline to sideline ability. Or Smith, Harold and Watson are looking that effing good there.

Yup, that was the one. Thanks!

3 cut, 3 signed.

Yeah, true!

Do you think our DL will be nice beefy to the point we play Smith at SAM legitimately or we're going madden style and try to make it work lol.

You got me! My guess at this point is we go with run stuffing "beef" on early downs and then bring in the edge and interior rushers after that.

Right.. I think the run stuffing beef allows Smith at SAM.
Some UDFA numbers:

Bret Treadway got $7,500 but he got cut ($2,500 SB, $5K base)
Malik Golden $15K($3K SB, $12K base)
Cole Hikutini $110K($10K SB, $100K Base)
KD Cannon got $45K but was cut ($5K SB, $40K Base)
Evan Goodman $6,500($2,500 SB, $4K Base)
Nick Mullens $20K($2K SB, $18K Base)
Matt Breida $30K($5K SB, $25K Base)
Darrell Williams $10K($5K SB $5K Base)
Zach Franklin didn't get any GTD money

Those guys got $35K in signing bonuses, they are allowed to spend around $98,200 on signing bonuses, add in $12K for Jimmie Gilbert, then they're at $47K in signing bonuses.

No word on the folloiwing

I expect Magnuson, Jerome, Nwachukwu, Bourne and Bolden to have gotten the most of the remaining.

Erik Magnuson
Lorenzo Jerome
Noble Nwauchkwu
John Flynn
Kendrick Bourne
Victor Bolden
Tyler McCloskey
Donavin Newsom

Don't expect the 3 tryout players to get any GTD money
