Do you have Newsom, Donavin LB Missouri?
I'm missing him, but in my workbook I have 92 players listed, including all the UDFAs we're linked too. Didn't know what position Newsom player.

That's a turnover of 54 percent of the roster in over 10 weeks. Those numbers come after the latest round of cuts following the NFL draft and pending undrafted free agents of which San Francisco is expected to sign 17

I just looked at the 92 players we're linked too, and only 39 were from last years team, either 53-man, IR, PUP, NFI and PSquad. We have 53 new Players on the team once UDFAs sign. So we could go down 2 from last years team to 37, definitely a big time turnaround by Lynch and Shanahan.

I have 19 UDFA's...he's saying 17. So, two must have dropped out and there's your 90?
Yeah, my man, Lobo has a whole thread on it. Check it out:

Remarkable turnover, indeed!

Supposedly rookies report Thursday, and Minicamp is Fri-Sun this weekend, so we should know in the next 48-72 hours who's been officially signed, and released/cut/waived/traded/etc..
Excited to see how minicamp goes this weekend

With uncertainty at the wide out position, do you think we should take a look and chance on Victor Cruz?

I'd pass. We have Kerley,Taylor,Ellington and a tire kicker in Ross that play slot. Also Robinson could probably be in the mix as well.

Some other things NCommand, with everything I know, as far as rookie deals(draftees and UDFAs), we're $66,180,904 under the cap, if all contracts counted, $46,995,904 under the cap.
Now the NFL Cap is set at $167M, and technically teams DON"T have to spend a minimum in each year, but fans like to assume or think they do, so the sake of argument, if they were to have to spend 89% of $167M, that would be $148.63M in CASH(Not cap, cash is defined as anything that is to be paid out in the new calendar year, so Base salaries, roster bonuses, workout bonuses, any incentives, and Signing Bonuses given out, the full amount counts as cash, not just prorated portion), we're at $163,093,888 in CASH for 2017.

I'm only counting 91 in your list. The only guy on my list, that isn't on yours, is Newsom, Donavin LB Missouri. What's interesting, is when I started this, I only had 91 as well, but I didn't have Franklin, Zach. I wonder if these are the two that aren't on the 90. Or, we might in fact be at 92.

This is what I came up with, early for now.
53-Man Roster:
1. QB Brian Hoyer (Base salary is fully gtd)
2. QB Matt Barkley
3. QB C.J. Beathard
4. RB Carlos Hyde (I can't see the cutting Hyde, he gets this year to prove himself)
5. RB Tim Hightower (Only $300K gtd, but I think Shanahan likes him)
6. RB Joe Williams
7. RB Kapri Bibbs (We traded a 4th in 2018 to get him, I don't see him cut unless he sucks it up, then it made no sense to trade a 2018 4th, even if we got a 2017 5th)
8. FB Kyle Juszczyk
9. WR Pierre Garcon
10. WR Marquise Goodwin
11. WR Jeremy Kerley
12. WR Aldrick Robinson
13. WR Trent Taylor
14. WR KD Cannon ($45K GTD in his UDFA deal, plus he has potential)
15. TE Logan Paulsen
16. TE George Kittle
17. TE Garrett Celek or Vance McDonald or Cole Hikutini (I do think 1 of the first 2 gets traded, not cut, they'd eat money, Hikutini also got $20K GTD in his UDFA deal)
18. C Jeremy Zuttah
19. C Tim Barnes
20. LG Zane Beadles
21. LG Brandon Fusco
22. RG Joshua Garnett
23. RG Daniel Kilgore
24. LT Joe Staley
25. RT Trent Brown
26. RT Garry Gilliam
27. DE Solomon Thomas
28. DE Ronald Blair
29. LEO Arik Armstead
30. LEO Aaron Lynch or Tank Carradine (I can't decide which I would keep, I'd love both)
31. DT DeForest Buckner
32. DT Quinton Dial
33. NT Earl Mitchell
34. NT D.J. Jones
35. OLB Malcolm Smith
36. OLB Reuben Foster
37. OLB Ray-Ray Armstrong
38. OLB Dekoda Watson
39. MLB NaVorro Bowman
40. MLB Brock Coyle ($400K Bonus, he makes it for STs)
41. CB Rashard Robinson
42. CB Ahkello Witherspoon
43. CB Dontae Johnson
44. CB K'Wuan Williams
45. CB Will Redmond
46. FS Jimmie Ward
47. FS Don Jones ($500K GTD in his base plus 2yr deal, doubt he's cut)
48. SS Eric Reid
49. SS Jaquicki Tartt
50. SS Lorenzo Jerome
51. PK Robbie Gould
52. P Bradley Pinion
53. LS Kyle Nelson
To me, this team is much better than 2016.

Probably Smith with the addition of Foster. Ray-Ray can handle that WILL spot too if people are tripping on Fosters shoulder.

That'd be pretty bad.
Smith can't cover tight ends to save his life. The main reason the Raiders let him go.
We don't have a lot of SAM LBs on the roster, and tons of WILL competition. I think Brooks is ultimately going to be safe.
