I think both matts are pretty objective...The writers on 49ers.com are the warm and fuzzy guys with everything being positive. TK is just trash....same with Cohn

Hey Tim, your opinions on the 49ers are now invalid. You speak from a position of bitterness and personal slight. He has had a biased bitterness towards the team for several years now, and has been trying to take them down like a scorned woman. It's embarrassingly obvious in everything he writes.

York is the owner, thus he was in the draft room. Peter King was in the draft room writing a story. Peter King asked York to be on his podcast. Peter King brought Jim Harbaugh up, and asked him if hed have dinner with him...What is Jed supposed to say? "No, F that douche."??? He answered with political correctness, but now TK wants to spin it like York was going to King to grandstand in the media? STFU retard. Kawakami is getting as bad as Grant Cohn. Pure garbage content with an agenda.

This is why I prefer beat writers over columnists.

The 49ers are in the best place they've been since Week 19 of the 2013 season. Since TK lives on bitterness and negativity, he's struggling to find content. I truly hope he screws up and says something that gets him fired. I dont even like York at all, but im glad he stuck TK with that expensive dinner bill. He deserved it.

Kawakami depends on drama and negativity in order to generate clicks (and thus income).

At this point anyone seriously complaining non-stop about Lynch/Shanahan has an agenda. IMO they're open for serious criticism after the 2018 season- if we still suck and if a lot of the early draft picks don't work out.

If our defense still sucks in 2018 we have problems. Heck, if they don't improve this year we have problems. The offense is different because we don't have a FQB yet. If we land one before the 2018 season he still has to learn the offense so I'll give the offense a little more time to improve compared to the defense but you still want to see an improved passing game compared to what we've had the last few years.

Our passing game has been ranked 27th-31st for some time. Nowhere to go but up. Hopefully. Same with defense. I don't see how we can't improve on both sides of the ball in the short term.

Realistically I'm looking for us to jump up to a 19th-24th ranked passing game this year. About the 14th-20th ranked defense this year. 2018 I want a top ten defense, top 15 passing game. 2019 I want a top 5 passing game and top 10 defense.
