Everything must go! DeFo come home. Keenan Allen come home (Cal).

I like this idea.

I disagree with your crystal ball.

Everyone has a price. A sensible price. Tampa is going nowhere fast and needs to change direction because they need players and a rebuild. $19.6 dead cap is anything but crippling for only 2027 for any team.

The 49ers window is now and they need that type of player!

Robinson makes much more sense than Vea in terms of both compensation and salary.

It's all preference.

Has Vita Vea even been good this year? He has zero TFL and zero sacks…

🤦🏽‍♂

You know he's started late right. They hard balled him when he's been nothing but a trooper for that org. He's on a team going nowhere needing an immediate rebuild.

Not sure if you've ever been in a situation where you're working a dead-end job and on top of that management neglected your value. How would it feel to going from that to a place where you can contribute and achieve the ultimate goal as your career winds down?! Seriously bro

OR he's simply not playing well. He's never been a monster pass rusher and if the reason you want him is because he stopped the run in the past. Go get someone cheaper to fill that spot. His buddy Robinson has been better and will cost a 10th of the price.

imo people are looking at the name and not much else with Via

buck is not ass, he's just not dominant anymore. Watch the tape.

We will need a lot more than just him alone, would rather go for a truly impact defensive player

You watch the tape lol. He's been pretty freaking good this year.

you can only trade for who's actually available. Impact defensive players are usually available and if so it's usually an over pay.

IMO we need a DE vs a DT but Buck would be a pretty sweet regardless

A big time base run stopper? Sure, I'd love to trade for one of those.

That's kinda what I'm saying…and if it's a straight up run defender only type of guy they don't have to break the bank.

I'll be more than fine with Defo, rotation of interior rushers is never a bad thing.

What even is that type of player lol? He's not rushing the passer consistently anymore. So what he's a run down big body guy at this point (who you still have to pay next yr). You do not have to burn good picks to get one of those.

SF isn't gonna take money on next yr for older players…only way that's happening is if it's a young player who is gonna be here long-term.

I'd be happy with another receiver or DL, or both if we're being greedy anything that's gonna make us a better team going forward, and hopefully someone that's gonna help us get over the hump. I swear, this is our year

Pretty much all this - especially the bold. Would really like for them to acquire an impactful, base run-stopper as this will be a huge help for this D in the long haul of this season & stopping teams with good running games. It all starts w/ stopping the run. Fortify up the middle with a quality DT (& not just another body off the street).

If no run-stopper is added, at the very least would like them to acquire another proven pass rusher (looking at you, K. Mack).

Vita Vea is needed! Clogger with push up the middle.

Someone smarter than me said that Vea fits the 1T whereas Buckner, Gracen Halton and Osa O are more of 3Ts.

I'd say:

1. Vea
2. Khalil Mack

and if there's a fit in scheme the Colt player:

Quenton Nelson

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With this start the focus now shifts to matching with teams that will run the ball.

Seattle will get their back back
Rams aren't done
Vikings
Packers
Bears

AFC

Chefs
Ravens
Patriots
Bills

Enough with this Vea stuff. Bucs aren't trading him! They just resigned him and will take a big capt hit if they do.

It's a 52 min dead cap hit. I don't need a crystal ball to know there's no chance the Bucs do that outside of a insane offer.

It's not hard to throw on a game or game highlights and see him get stonewalled or chasing guys down field. We have rotating guys who can do more

The mindset shouldn't be trade to just trade.

trade for impact

It'll be gut wrenching if Seattle or LA got him. Lol

I got a feeling that the Rams are going to quickly try to go after Mack from the Chargers. Would be a desperation move but they have entered that point of the season. A couple more loses before the trade deadline, and they might turn into sellers.
