Get the LG situation under control. Sign a Vet or trade for a player. In the playoffs, we are most likely going to face great DL's (and in the regular season 4 times vs the Rams and Seahawks). This will improve our offense and help us win games.....and another SB

Hate to trade a 1st for Nelson when both safety positions are as big a question mark as LG is.

exactly faithful. They can't be stubborn and think they can always scheme up protections and the running game (Unless you have Brunskill vs Aaron Donald
). You can't scheme up against the Seahawks DL sorry. Get a big move done dammit.Originally posted by DonnieDarko:

That would be a great trade worth a 2nd and a future 3rd, but the colts need him for Taylor and the offense to succeed, so I doubt it materializes. There are 1 or 2 good guards available as FA's but like I said our FO is in denial

Their big trades have always been either a d linemen or a weapon. Y'all think they would make a big trade for an o linemen?

Well we did, remember. Traded for a decent veteran at LG in Patterson.

I highly doubt they will spend a 1st on a safety, just use the pick on someone proven.

BA has missed the reinstatement deadline of Sept 1 to be paid his option bonus and the deadline is now Sept 1 of 2027. That gives the 49ers 363 days of contractual control - even if he is reinstated, without a massive payout required.
RIGHT NOW the 49ers can… https://t.co/7AdTmuFmhe
At this point this is like watching a horror movie.
"Just get in the car and leave the damn cabin!!!"
EVERYONE watching this knows what dude needs to do, and he just.....doesn't.
I hope he for once stands on business with what he says that he's never coming back into the building etc... that means he can't actually reinstate.

You can't. It's literally impossible. I hate to break it to you guys, but everyone in professional sports is on PEDs. This ain't your grandpappy's world where people were pumping only anabolic steroids. This new age s**t is different ie peptides, growth hormones, sarms, stims, etc.
Personally, I think they should do the opposite and allow everything. Full transparency under medical supervision. No more playing this dumbass game of pretending athletes making millions of dollars are clean(they're not).
I'm 100% with you. Been saying it for years. At minimum allow it when guys are rehabbing and trying to recover from injuries.

Trade a first round pick in one of the more talented drafts in a while for a 30 year old guard who you will have to give a record setting contract to?
No thanks...
2nd rounder would be highest I'd go.
