Anyone who followed the draft knew that after pick 20ish the talent is extrmeelly flat for the next 20 or so pick so trading back to get more picks was definitely the right move especially if your guy was gone which looked like it was

i think Thiensman was the guy we were targeting at 27 before moving back and Rutelige at 30

Honestly think Malachi Lawrence was the pick then Caleb Lomu. IMO

So you think Lomu was the pick even though he was available at 27 and we didn't take him?

Lomu looks like a top pick for Magic the Gathering.

First it was Lawrence, then maybe they thought he (Lomu) would still be available at #30. Then when Lomu wasn't, they traded down again.

Or they weren't interested in any of them and were moving regardless.
I say we keep moving back until all our Picks are 5th round picks.

How dare you copy my Madden trade down strategy!
Are they trying to make room for Brian Burns?

That's typically not how it works you don't trade dow hoping you get your guy if he's the guy and he is expected to go you take him

usally you trade down when you have multiple players ranked similarly and you can trade down and get 1 of them

Lynch is on the clock. NFC foes Eagles, Dallas and Giants hit home runs in the first round. Those teams got so much better.

I think this is a defining draft for Lynch. If he strikes out again. He's got to go.

This type of post is just hilarious to me. We see it almost every year by someone looking to b***h.

We know nothing about these players, no matter how much hype they have going into the draft. I remember when Isiah Simmons was going to shut down Kittle and make the Cardinals a powerhouse.

First of all those 3 teams are in the NFC EAST. That's not our division. As far as our own division it couldn't have gone much better in regards to the picks our division rivals made. Love and Price may be very good RBs but that position is not a needle mover anymore and Love going 3rd overall is a horrible investment given their RB room and the guaranteed cash they automatically owe the kid. Simpson to the Rams doesn't do a damn thing for them with Stafford.

So you complaining about what NFC East teams did is just absurd. Eagles btw are going to lose AJ Brown. We'll see if Lemon is even close to him as far as talent. Yes Dallas made some really good picks on paper and their defense got better for sure. We'll see how they blow it. Giants had 2 top 10 picks. Wow what a shocker they did well in the draft.

49ers made the smart choice. They didn't have a lot of draft picks and we have a lot of needs, though nothing too pressing. Certainly not at positions that are somehow not available at pick 33.

Chill out.

Agreed and most of our needs are depth

I think LG and S are what I see as the major needs for staters
