I mean I've thought it was total BS the whole time too but I don't have a problem with investigating it. It's perfectly fair and reasonable to be like "it's BS but also here's WHY it's BS and here's why believing it isn't BS is a waste of time."
I don't think there's anything dangerous or wrong about that. It's okay to question things and it's okay to consider all angles of the evidence, however little or much of it there is. It's actually a requirement in science to do that in order to get to the right conclusion.
I'm not really one for conspiracy theories, but it's okay for people to have their own thoughts in their heads and it's okay to have investigations or experiments based on said thoughts. It doesn't mean you're giving any "credibility" to the thoughts, you're simply strengthening the case for whatever reality is.

i dont have a problem with the investigation of it thats how science is done i have a problem saying i dont believe in the science because it conflicts with my opinion or i searched the internet

People said that they should hire a 3rd party expert. Seems they did that, and now that people don't like the results of that they are ignoring or disregarding the results. Not a very scientific reaction to them doing a scientific 3rd party study.

I didn't whole hardheartedly believe it, but I thought it should of been investigated. Based on what players have said in previous interviews - it sounds like it was in the past. I'm glad it was looked into and I'm glad nothing came of it.
with that said, I'm glad to hear we are investing more in our training and rehab staff. That's something our team can use - anything that can even provide 1% possibility that guys stay healthy. I dont think our team neglects that stuff but we've had an usually high rate of injuries for a decade now. So there is something going on, it can't all be just bad luck, IMO. Maybe it is, but I feel like statistically - that's an anomaly.
Nothing but good news, IMO. Electric Sub Station isn't murdering our guys and we're investing more into our teams health and rehab.

It's not that. I'm a scientist myself, and no, I don't believe there is any correlation between the substation and injuries, but when it comes to scientific studies, you have to be critical since a lot of papers are full of BS. Forget who did it, but what was the experimental design, what was the statistical significance, what was considered deemed "safe,"?, etc. These are the type of questions I'd be interested in, because they just presented it in a "here you go, now f**k off" manner by two non-STEM people.

As a non scientist that tries to look at things logically I would want to know why all the players aren't affected if this was a real thing. Why is it only certain players? These types of things are more likely to cause health issues like cancer than knee or ligament issues. We've all heard the warnings about cell phones possibly causing brain issues.
Injuries are random and have nothing to do with electrical impulses. Poor training can be a cause for some injuries but kneee injuries can happen to any player at any time. Get hit right or take a wrong step and you're out for the year.

AJ Epenesa isn't signing with the browns. Maybe that is a rotational piece we can pick up? idk much about him. browns offered him a 1 year 5M, not bad.

Not really all that wild.
These players value themselves more than teams do and teams operate with a salary cap which limits how much money they can spend.
They are looked at like the 49ers view JJ. Yeah, of course you can provide some value, but SAF not at that price.

They all likely want more than teams are willing to give.

That 3rd party, whoever they hired, is definitely wrong. 100%. You can hire anyone you want to get the desired outcome. If you are truly trying to find out the truth, you would be 100% transparent, which the niners have not been. Personally, i don't care. Not my money, not my health at risk. What people want to do and believe is all on them, as long as it doesn't effect me.

How much transparency do you expect in a 15 minute press conference talking about the state of the 49ers and this was just 1 of many questions? You think Lynch should have sat there and named the company, the person(s) who did the study, their credentials, their certifications, what they measured, etc?

Players should refuse to train until the substation or the training facilities are relocated.
Can you please give your expertise on why this is a problem today and not back in 1988 when they started practicing next to the big bad substation.

I guess Koldo thinks that the sub station can be relocated in a couple weeks. That woukld be a major undertaking requiring finding anothe rlocation and going through all the permitting processes. Relocating the trining fcilities isn't going to happen.
