Obviously, from a public standpoint, the team will deny it and make other teams think they have to try and pry him from them when they don't want to trade him. Browns are super analytical and I can see them thinking that they don't think they'll get a superbowl in the near future (2-3 years), so trade a valuable asset like Myles while he is worth his most - that gives them a lot to build with as they inch closer to being a contender (in the teams eyes).
I enjoy thinking through why the front office's do what they do. I'm curious if the 49ers do something like this in the future, the reasons why they'd do it.

first, Cleveland would want a ton of picks. Second, they wouldnt want a player in return, especially not an expensive player. The point of trading a star player for picks is to get younger and cheaper. Bosa commands a huge salary and is just coming off a torn ACL....
but most importantly, Cleveland has to want to move off Garrett. There is no indication they're willing to besides wishful thinking on the fans part here.
Apparently Cleveland pushed back some bonuses until the season itself but seriously I agree, it's completely unnecessary talk.
One year ago, Garrett requested a trade and basically crapped on the Browns organization insisting that they can't win a Super Bowl and he wants to go somewhere where he can. Then a month later he signed a massive extension with him.
That single month last year was THE TIME for
him to get traded. If he didn't get traded then, he's not getting traded until his prime is over, if ever.

It's all real. I worked at the municipal utility here in Sacramento, SMUD. I won't even live anywhere close to high power electrical lines, cause they are so bad for people to be around. But i also know that the 49ers will never admit people are being harmed by the station, cause that would open them up to massive lawsuits.

Exactly, it's only a ~$20 million to move the substation, well worth the cost just for recruiting. They can just deny it's any health problem, but just removed it to help recruit superstitious players

Just stand under high power electrical lines during a high load time and tell me it's A-ok to be around those for a decent amount of time. Or don't. Doesn't bother me anymore when people choose not to believe something that is just so obvious.

Or how science can be easily bought and paid for your desired results just like team doctors when evaluating players. I'm more concerned that he gave zero information of who these scientists were. Came off in his interview like "I know a guy, so trust me bro"

Who pays that $20 mil though? The Yorks? No chance, the city? Even less, the company? Absolutely not. Maybe they could split it 4 ways between all above and the new location arguing it will bring infrastructure to the new area. Still doubt it ever happens.

Hard to say the 49ers are liable for some other companies property when the State allows the conditions.
Even crazier to assume a company that spends 10s of millions a year on dead payroll would not just build a new practice field .

The only incompetent here is Johnny Lynch.
Players should refuse to train until the substation or the training facilities are relocated.
