Garrett has his options altered last year as well.

Three firsts for Garrett? One thing to look at is The fact that we suck drafting in the first round, add to that the fact that we routinely have a late first round pick and I think the value is there. He's not going anywhere but why not make a huge offer knowing what we know.

Hell NO...we gotta get younger and absolutely should not be trading away three 1st's plus taking on another massive salary. The guy is an amazing player.....but no....not worth it for us to do that.

no way in hell Browns are going to trade him,... last year we had the same tale,... just a way to keep interest in the offseason,... but in the case they are willing to trade the f*cking Myles f*cking Garrett???????.... c'mon, man,.... I would give 3 first in a heartbeat,... and more if needed

the draft is a crapshoot (even the first round, let alone the very late 1rst which would be the 9ers spot with him),... and with him in the squad the 9ers only would need to fill some holes (currently some OL and FS spots) which could be made with later picks

and the 9ers would be automatically the standout fav to reach the SB for the next 3 seasons,.... just for the pleasure of watching the pair Bosa-Garrett in your team it would be worth,... can you imagine what a pleasure would be to watch them each sunday terrorizing every single QB in the league????

can you imagine a front row of Bosa-Williams-Osa-Garrett????? Sam Darnold would be watching ghosts even in the bathroom,...no OL in this world could stop it

I would actually give up all of our draft picks this year or next year for MG. I would actually consider giving up our first this year, and all our picks next year.

No one we bring in will have the type of impact MG would have on this team.

That said, I am not sure how it would work contract wise with the salary cap.

it stems from the contract renegotiation that the browns and Garrett worked out. Part of his huge extension from last year, he has annual option bonuses that were due really early in the off season. Browns and Garrett made it where those option bonuses are due a week before the season, instead of super early in the off season. which makes it way easier to trade him. TBH, this kind of restructure almost always is due to being traded.

That doesn't mean it'll happen, but that's where this all sparked from. I think they are going to trade him - idk what comp they want or if we have a real chance at it.

Three firsts and then restructure Trent for three years extension and I'm sure he'd take a small discount for a shot at a couple of rings
