Still throwing darts at the board for a serviceable LG so we're not going for a "can play LG for a year" type of OT.
We're not taking an OT in round 1 just to sit him for a year or two.
Only way we take an OT is if he's straight up replacing Trent and I'm not considering that right now.
DE/WR/DB are our first 3 picks imo, but not necessarily in that order.
Not likely to find a day one starter that low in the draft.
what is your suggestion?
Perhaps trade up is the only thing I see.
I went into the off season assuming if we traded Mac we'd be trying to move up in the first rather than hold the extra picks.
I guess the same could be true if we trade Trent or someone else. I don't see us moving up when we're already short of picks and still have holes to fill.
I don't like what I originally suggested as the plan, but based on what we're doing, and still doing, in FA it doesn't feel like a round 1 OL is the play.
Besides, those 3 4th round picks we have are screaming developmental OL, hope we hit Safety, and bench riding RB.
Hope I'm wrong. Like a lot of posters I've been on the OL train for a few seasons now.
