What punch did they beat us to here? You said it yourself you wouldn't do the trade.

Matt Stafford was the one who got away but if you read into what actually happened the Lions weren't looking for a better offer from the 49ers or they would've called Kyle back.

Lions new GM came from the Rams and loved Jared Goff. He clearly wanted to deal with the Rams and didn't bother seeing if we could offer up more.
