I may be an outlier here but I have zero interest in Deebo returning.
This offense needs to transform not restore.

Fitzpatrick is cool but I wouldn't give up anything more than a 4th rounder

Absolutely! But just to entice the move, send Brown with the pick

They've drafted good (Seattle/LA) that has them set up to win for this season. Again keyword there is THIS season.
And you think the 9ers were worried to sign Brock Purdy cause they didn't sign anyone this past season? I thought we all agreed that they did that to get rid of $100+ mil in dead cap. Brock Purdy signed in time to have almost a full offseason with the team. Now if you asked me if they were worried about signing Aiyuk, sure. But they were ready to trade him, so I doubt they worried too much about him.
Sure the Rams are one injury away from having a disastrous season. Just like the 9ers are one Trent Williams injury from having a struggling offense. Even Brock Purdy is as injury prone as Stafford, he's coming off of a significant injury too. So crossing my fingers Purdy also stays healthy, it doesn't seem like the 9ers are really keeping Mac Jones around.
Seattle has half a dozen starters and high end rotational players that are gonna be FAs, they have multiple players that aren't gonna step on the field without massive deals…and that's not even discussing what Sam will be due in a yr. SO yes you absolutely have to apply all that context when discussing their cap space…Im not even sure why you're trying to argue with me about this. There is always a SB tax.
They most certainly do not have a ton of draft capital. They currently have 4 picks.
again I think you confuse the difference between cap space and REAL $$ that they have to hand out the moment a deal is signed as well. There's a difference and it matters. It was part of the reason the Raiders couldn't resign Mack, they simply didn't have the real cash to give him reportedly.
The Rams are yr to yr right now. Stafford will command a high cap hit each yr. They have muliple young players on that DL that at looking to get paid. They have a horrible DB room. Puka wants a bag. Adams in the last yr of his deal etc etc. every team has work to do.
SF doesn't have any high end extensions that they have to worry about for the first time in years. They cleaned out their books this past off season, it was a "rebuilding year" from that aspect and they still went to the playoffs. Now they have $ and a bunch of young players that got important snaps the past two years. Time to make some moves.

That 4th rd comes with a new big extension as well. This is a pretty stacked draft at S and there's a couple other S in FA that could upgrade the DB room with no pick attached to it

He's injured a lot and getting older. His routes and getting open aren't really that great. Was better years ago when he was younger and more healthy. I don't think we need him. But we need something.

I agree. I loved Deebo here but he's older now. We need to get younger and faster.
If he comes back, I hope he balls out, but I'd be surprised if we went that route. Especially a year ago he wanted out.

Based off of the athletics FA list and projected contracts, would like to see them target likely , Bryant and Vera-Tucker.

Raiders Maxx Crosby is now a co-owner in Leeds United soccer team β which happens to be primarily owned by the 49ers 👀

Like I said Super Bowl tax
#Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba told @JonahJavad that he believes he should be the NFL's highest-paid WR, which would mean topping $40.25M per year β the current record held by Ja'Marr Chase.

Agreed.
One trade that would make sense that will definitely help the defense is trading for Minkah Fitzpatrick. He shouldn't be that much in a trade.
There's gonna a few out there that could help out big time, but MF could be the best one if available... we need to snag one of them
