It can NOT be "Kyle and Lynch are BOTH trash" because if they are, how do we have 9 playoff wins and 2 Super Bowl appearances under them? Or are we going to pretend that's the same thing as 0 playoff appearances because "nO rInGz!!!!"

Make it make sense. I think objectively they can draft better, I also think they're able to get players to play better than anyone thought.

we are in desperate needs some homegrown blue chip all-pro dudes though.

Agree with this.

The coaching side of things has been excellent.

Was thinking about it today and my biggest issue with Lynch is actually pretty simple.

When they came in Lynch said his number one goal was to build a dominant d line. 10 years later that still hasnt happened. Best line we had was probably in 2019. Two of the guys were already on the team, Bosa fell into their laps and the other guy was Dee Ford who was hurt most the year and done conpletely shortly after.

I do believe scheme and coaching plays into it, but the fact is, for a team who wanted to define the franchise by dominant D Line play the talent level has been abysmal. We cant find another guy to go along with Bosa and, whenever we might, Bosa gets hurt. Bosa is the only mainstay and everybody else is shuffled around every season. Every time we find some decent to good d linemen we get rid of em like they're easy to find.

It'd be one thing if this is just how it kinda turned out. They never said they wanted to build a great oline, so it makes sense that the o line isnt good enough in that case. But they said d line was their number 1 priority. And since I don't know exactly how much say Kyle has when it comes to talent acquisition I have to put that failure at the GM's feet.

Kid need to get more than a slap on the wrist, he needs 8 game suspension, the NFL, while I don't always agree with what they do, need to suspend players more seriously for things like this, stalking, DV, instead of some s**t like a 2 game suspension that Ray Rice initially got, it seems like the system, like the actual justice system, is f**ked up, they fine players more for a uniform violation than they do for more serious offenses, just don't get how Goodell, other than the fact he's the Owner's b***h(Yes I'm serious, the Owners get him to do whatever they want him to do, is still the commish when he's making $40M-$60M a year and then we have fans b***hing that players get paid too much, now Goodell don't do jacks**t and gets paid ridiculously.

Latest Dieter & Hutch episode.

I'll have to check it out….I enjoy their football talk, honestly I don't know how informed Dieter is. I can't think of one breaking news thing he's done.

He writes for the Mercury News. That's all I know him from

Yup gotta love those vague well it's probably not gonna happen but "what I heard" reports lol. Either way he can't get called out.

I find it highly unlikely they bring in anyone this off season…let alone someone that's never worked with Kyle and this staff (Trent or Scotty).

I enjoy their show, especially, this time of the year, with the free agent and draft discussion. I don't get the impression that he wants to be the 1st to report on news and I have no idea how well informed he is, either. I do think the person of interest is Kwesi-Adofo-Mensah. His drafts, in my opinion, were pretty bad.

Draft picks in the first round since 2017.

2017.....Rueben Foster.....
2017.....Solomon Thomas.....
2018.....Mike McGlinchey.....
2019.....Nick Bosa.....
2020.....Brandon Aiyuk.....
2020.....Javon Kinlaw.....
2021......Trey Lance..... (3 1st round picks. We didn't have any in 2022 and 2023)
2024.....Ricky Pearsall.....
2025.....Mykel Williams.....

I got 1/9 picks and some traded away that we didn't have. Somebody should be fired for this. Yet this is the guy who is perfect, irreplaceable and nobody else can ever coach this team. You can't win like this.

You were running around claiming victory with Pierce, now he's probably going to jail for attempted murder or some s**t…any objective person knows you don't grade drafts for the first couple seasons.

My favorite thing about his critique is you apparently need to get multiple All-Pros and a major award like DPOY to be considered a successful draft pick.

Aiyuk could still be considered a successful pick depending on how you look at it (he was an All-Pro that gave us critical plays in the playoffs) and same with Mike McGlinchey who netted us a comp pick when he was done. Pearsall and Williams it is WAAAAY too early to call them busts lol

I'll give you the rest but "1-for-9" is absolutely not how you can fairly describe this. Does a player seriously need to win DPOY or they're a bust?

I wouldn't call Pearsall or Williams busts at this point. But it's trending in the wrong direction and they were both drafted too high. Over drafted. You agree with a lot of the rest.

You know there's a video right? You go ahead and pretend the guy who had all these red flags before the draft didn't actually do what was reported and he had to be wrestled to the ground by several police officers simply for jaywalking

Now I don't think we've been amazing, but this team is still winning games, going to playoffs and SBs. So proclaiming we got a s**t roster is kinda silly. BUT we need to do better for sure

I keep reminding all these guys worshiping Seattle right now to look at those drafts. Terrible save DK and Lockett.

The only upside Seattle has on us is they were able to trade away some of these guys at the height of their value and we've either had to hold onto guys too long cuz of need, injury or insanity(Aiyuk)

It's crazy that even after leaving Seattle Russell Wilson haunts us. Winning that absurd game in 2022 and we end up missing the 1 seed cuz of it and then by netting Seattle an absolute haul right before his career goes to crap.

After 9 seasons you still think that Lynch is the one making the calls?
I saw something highlighting how bad our drafting has been on Round 3. Got me thinking, do we think the number of comp picks we've had in that round through minority hires and Free Agency has led us to take dart throws that we might not otherwise have?
