Yeah.

At best JL is an average drafter.

That said he has built 2(ish) superbowl rosters.

There are only a handful of FOs that draft well and that seems to be in spurts.

Drafting is way harder that the casual fan thinks because WE think we are brilliant in our analysis after a year. But you don't have that luxury when you are drafting.

Just look at all the peacocks on webzone mock drafts pre-draft. Littered with busts.

The top two people responsible are a HC (who reportedly has final say over the roster) and a former player who transitioned from TV to the top of personnel with no experience.

I mean majority of it is now. But in 2019 and 2023 the offense and defense were both ranked in the top 5. Now all the draft misses are catching up to this team.
