Last time we had a bona fide GM.
The above videos are auto-populated by an affiliate.
And imagine this world- I pick AZ is Cinderella every year. It hasn't panned out obviously but I like their new coach and I think they are ready to dump Kyler at all costs. Imagine if they finally break thru and win it all ina few years and 9ers still trying. Can you imagine all three winners yet the 9ers have Kyle so there. Not even gonna think about it. We need a new top flight GM.
This is not directed at Lynch or anything, but apparently someone wants to continue doubling down on the investment of pretty average OL players like Austin Pleasants who's not terrible but not good. He's been given a tender offer for a little over $1 million (a drop in the bucket, still don't understand what tender is) for a season, I guess? It's decent OL depth I suppose but nothing that moves the needle.

In the last five years, John lynch hasn't drafted a single player that would start on this year's Seattle Seahawks. How was he not relieved of his duties for 2023 alone?

Brock Purdy would be starting. This is hyperbole

Sam Darnold is coming off back to back 14-3 seasons and has better stats than Purdy in the past two years in almost every category and 60 TD passes the past two years. Oh and he just won a Super Bowl.

I don't see Purdy starting for them in any scenerio.

But nice of us to gift the Hawks Darnold. He was the QB we should have kept.

LOL

How is Purdy better? Back it up instead of the LOL.

Let's hear it.

Credit to Darnold for letting not messing things up for his defense this year, but things are usually not that comfortable. In 9/10 years you need your QB to lift you up. Purdy did that in the 2023 playoffs in all three games to different degrees - and never left a game at the end without the lead. I have yet to see anything from Darnold to show he can do that. I'll give him having a better arm and being taller, but everything else I favor Purdy on.

The pocket awareness, ability to see the field and go through progressions quickly, throw with anticipation, ability to dissect zone coverage, willingness to take calculated risks and attack tight windows with precision, scrambling ability, etc.

All of those things Purdy is superior to Darnold on. It's laughable to suggest Darnold is a better QB, even though he is still pretty good.

I mean this is the same guy that said Dilfer (or was it Brad Johnson) is a better QB than Marino. Better to ignore.

Did I say better QB or a better career?

You guys think stats are everything while I say championships mean more.

What you talking bout Willis??? Kentwan was a Special Team's Ace especially with his kick return prowess
With Juan Jennings leaving we almost certainly need to make a splash at WR this offseason. Ricky on a fragile PCL and castoffs is not going to cut it.

Justin Jefferson or fire lynch

Sign Alec Pierce or Romeo Doubs, sign Isaiah Likely to fill in for Kittle while he's gone, draft KC Concepcion in the first round.

It's the league minimum for Pleasants, who is a ERFA, he got tendered a 1yr $1.075M deal, it's non guaranteed, so he's not guaranteed anything and since you have 90 spots and he played well with Trent out so I have no issue with this.

Minnesota isn't dealing him not when they're $40M over the cap and would lose over $7.4M if they trade him, plus it makes zero sense for them to do so, and I'm not for trading multiple 1's for a frigging WR, and I love Jefferson, but again they're not gonna deal him and if they do it's not for a 1 and Mac Jones, they're gonna want multiple 1s or a 1, a 2 and more picks, he's one of the best WRs in the NFL, and if they want to add a veteran QB and then dealing their best WR just isn't a good look for them nor would any QB coming in would be ok with them dealing Jefferson.

Then he went to Seattle and helped build a team that smashed us for years
