I think we or the bills have first waiver claim. I'll be shocked if we pick him up because it seems like we never do that.

it would allow white and YGM to rush from the interior more as well.

Yeah you're right. Regardless not sure if every team is gonna go after him. I mean the bears cut him last yr so not sure they would scoop him up.

Absolutely. If we want him I dont think Pitt or Buffalo will claim him first.

One benefit is maybe hes extra motivated against his old team.

Darrell Taylor, a pass rusher, was just released by Houston. The article linked above suggests the Niners' could sign him.

Taylor finished his collegiate career with 118 tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss, and 19.5 sacks with six forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and seven passes defended in 38 games.

I assume only the playoff teams would go after him. I guess a non playoff team could try but doesn't really make sense to be in a hurry right now.

Some team could put in a claim just to sit on him over the offseason. Lots of teams need pass rush help.
