not going to happen but can he be moved to S? He is a bit of a playmaker even if he gets beat might be useful as a centerfielder

Moving a FA CB to S WK18 on a new team? If we're truly looking for a S there's gotta be someone chilling on a PS or unsigned

I keep wonderng if it's the way the Niners defenders are taught or just lack of ability. Some defensive coaches teach a more aggressive style and actually want their safeties to attack the ball. Obviously you can get burned more often playing that way but getting those big turnovers can be worth the gamble.

What EDGE rusher?

It'll never happen but would be cool to know what players were available and at what price, at the trade deadline. It seemed like teams were trying to take advantage of us and make us overpay cause of our injury situation and lynch didn't go for it.

i just think it would be fun for us to talk and debate about if we'd do the trade or not. We'd have to remain with the context of the time and not use what we know now etc. would be fun though

Id take Simmons off the couch with two weeks of practice ahead of the playoffs over both of our safeties.

3rd round pick Xavier Watts. 89 tackles, 10 passes defensed, 5 INT

We took Nick Martin 20 picks before him.

Jonas Sanker was available too. 78 tackles, 6 PD, 2 INT

But surprise, surprise we reached and took a bust in the 3rd round. There was a ton of good players available when we took Martin.

at the time of draft i wanted Watts but i understood the near for LB depth over S depth

I wanted Watts and thought the Martin and Stout picks were major reaches(seems like Stout is a player at least) but once again calling Martin a bust after one year is dumb.

Tho having Watts right now definitely would've been better but with our luck he'd be injured too.
