I agree I like Cam and love to watch him play and his enthusiasm, I seen him shaking his head on the sidelines last night to clear out the cobwebs and thought the very same thing you mentioned.

Surprised to see Chubb is only 29, feels like he has been in the league forever. Just read he has 4 sacks currently. And if I recall he was a pretty complete DE in he plays the run well too. I could be mistaken on that part. I'd be all for it.

I do believe Lynch should pull the trigger on Hendrickson if he can get him for a 2nd. Mostly because even if he walks next year, he's likely gonna sign his last big contract & still land us a 3rd round comp pick. Plus our current 2nd is trending towards being at the end of the round.

I guess that's just a thing he does to make sure his helmet is on right, it's a compulsive thing at this pt.

This is why sacks are kinda a hollow stat, unless applied with context. Garbage time sacks and unblocked sacks (which he has) are meaningless imo.

his pressure rate is horrible…. not sure what's he's got for cash, but man he hasn't been good this yr imo.

It would be a underwhelming trade based off a name vs getting a real upgrade. He's stunk vs the run as well.

Would have to be the most minimal trade and cash take on.

I'm not expecting much help via trade without having to overpay for it. But if TEN wants to trade Key for a reasonable price, at that point who cares if he is only effective at nickel DT, 49ers need to generate pressure any way they can, and from anywhere.

What are your thoughts on Chubb? For me it wouldn't move the needle much

I'm happy that Lynch didn't panic and overpay for a pass rusher after Bosa went down. Take your time and field potential offers. It's unlikely that they'll get anyone great since most teams aren't willing to part with good edge rushers unless they get a lot in return.
