We do NEED to find a heir apparent, and someone who can come in & play at RT cause I doubt the 49ers pay McKivitz anywhere near what Jaylon Moore got, I mean McKivitz IMO is better than Moore, so if Moore got $15M a yr after not playing a lot, & never RT, then McKivitz could end up getting a Aaron Banks like deal, $19M-$20M a year.

You absolutely NAILED it!!

i would if jumped all over this at this price. Ravens got a steal if he stays healthy.

Well it says he turned down more money to go to the Ravens, so I'm sure many teams gave him better deals (Maybe us included). He probably chose the best place to give him a chance at a ring.

He's very good friends with Lamar Jackson from their time at college
I don't know where to put this so in the JL thread, some bleacher report guy is ranking teams under the most pressure to win the Super Bowl and he's got Niners as one of the most. Why, no one expects them to even be an SB contender so therefore no pressure. It's pretty simple.

idk, I'm guessing people think our window is closed or closing when it's not, also so many think Kyle & John are on the hot seat, I disagree, they have built a Super Bowl contender in just 3yrs, for f**ks sake Brock has 1 more playoff win than Lamar Jackson has, I honestly believe we got screwed in the SB, the NFL wanted the Chiefs to win, whole Taylor Swift stuff, & the publicity they likely got.

Also for those wondering about Jaire Alexander, they made the right choice, I'd rather let the young guys, Stout, Green get playing time especially when Alexander hasn't played much over the past 2yrs, if healthy it's a great signing, but like with the Buffalo & Joey Bosa already getting hurt, Alexander likely has something happen to him.

Well, that's what the BR guy was basically saying about the Niners, their window with the current regime closing. Kyle is now one of the longest tenured HC's in the league and taking into account how many "close but no cigar" games this regime has been to, couple conference championship losses and 2 SB losses.

Yeah that's pretty dumb. Obviously they're probably looking at guys like Trent, Kittle, Juice, CMC and thinking if we don't get it done now the window is closed.

The issue with that is we also have plenty of youth coming up and some cornerstones like Brock, Warner, Bosa, Dmo and maybe Aiyuk if he heals.

Obviously we all want to see the 49ers make the playoffs and make a run(which they can certainly do) but we can rebound very quickly with another good draft even if this season isn't as successful as we hope for.

I wouldn't even include Trent and Juice in the list as they are pretty clearly past their prime. Kittle and CMC though are still just in their primes.

I really hope Shanny is planning to play games with Kittle, Ferrell, JJ, Guerendo and CMC and mixing the run/play pass game in new ways than we've been seeing.

Might as well throw some jimmy and Trey debate in here as well.
