Would love this.
Heavy emphasis on rotating players in. Will help close out games in the 4th quarter.

I think Jonathan Allen, depending on the price tag, also is a possibility -- the 49ers can theoretically sign both veteran D-linemen. Doesn't mean they will. But adding Joey Bosa, I'm told, wouldn't rule out also going after Allen. https://t.co/MT1BT1AsNK

This makes sense after releasing Collins. Get them both, and draft an offensive tackle at 11

Both seem to suck against the run.

I wanted Allen something fierce when he was coming out of college. Dude was a complete animal at bama. He's had a good career but seems to have declined over the last two years.
idk the circumstances but I would be happy with him in our system. He would mainly need to just eat up o line and let LBs eat. Salehs system is simpler for the players

Yeah, but I don't get how getting Allen who we will probably have to pay more, is older and isn't as good as Collins according to PFF and sucks against the run like Collins is the upgrade or correct move.... I think Collins was a better pass rusher last year too. This move is confusing if we really are replacing Collins with Allen.
While the idea of playing with his brother Nick in San Francisco appeals to Joey Bosa, he is expected to garner strong interest from the Dolphins, per source.

A fallback option to Jonathan Allen?

I'd like Joey here cuz I think it's a good fit and I think he and Nick would make each other better and it's a cool story…but if he wants to prove himself out of us then it's not a big deal either.
