It's signing Joey and then dumping Floyd that concerns me.

Yeah that's not a good idea without good depth. It is interesting and may give us a narrative for the league. You know the Ray Rice bowl, Andy Reid finally wins one and the Taylor swift bowl.

We were on the short list on those.

I think he'll be signed for the very reason that he can still be a good player and most of all, won't count against the comp pick formula.
Sounds like we're gonna be interested in Jonathan Allen

Have a feeling we're going to hear our name being interested in everyone and won't actually do too much. Can see Bosa coming, but doubt Allen does.

Allen is definitely going to be more expensive.

If he was willing to come down to somewhere 49ers are willing to pay, he'd be part of the Deebo trade.

Probably wasn't willing to take whatever and go into the FA waters.

True but it might be better for team to give him a new deal then restructure or extend what he already had in place.
Garrett is off the table getting extended by the Browns. I guess he didn't care about winning a championship after all. We shouldn't be dreaming about high priced FAs and need to focus on drafting studs.

Smelled like a new deal push from the start.

He wasn't ever on the table

A little sneaky power move by Garrett. We know what his priorities are.

Signing Bosa and Allen changes nothing about the draft. Both will be in a rotation and the need to get younger and bulk up the DL long term remains.

this is nice to hear. Bosa was the best player on the field in week 1 vs LV. Then the next week I think, he injured his groin and wasn't the same all season. If we can get him and he stays relatively healthy, he and little bro would be very exciting duo to watch.
