Going to regret this but what makes Cowing a bad pick?

Pearsall being underwhelming may have something to do with the whole getting shot in the chest thing. But maybe that's just me.

The reality the jury is still out on all these guys. It used to be widely accepted that you can't really evaluate a draftntil after year 3. Now it seems that one season is enought to label playera a bust of future HOFer.

Pearsall got off to a really slow start after missing most of camp and some early season games and workouts. Puni played well vut we've seen players start fast and then revert back the following season. It's just too soon to label any of these guys.

He was awful every time he was on the field, particularly as a punt returner.

Pearsall is the average possession receiver you draft in the 4th round.

Pearsall missed all of training camp with an injury and then got shot and missed half the season. Even a veteran who is familiar with the playbook would struggle for a few games, Let alone a rookie. Heck look how much BA struggled missing all of training camp and he wasn't shot. Pearsall got going late in the season and unfortunetely the season came to an end just as he was finally getting comfortable.

Ricky will be fine. More fans thinking you should be Rice as a rookie or it's a bust. It's comical and helps pass the off-season time.

He wasn't very good at staying on his feet as a punt returner but he wasn't awful, just nothing special. Considering how bad our special teams were…him just not turning it over a bunch is a win.

However as a WR the guy made plays virtually every time he was targeted considering he caught 4 passes on 6 targets averaging 20 YPR.

So unless you rate WRs based on their punt returns as a rookie it certainly seems very odd to say he was a bad pick at this rate.

He looked like a gamer in preseason and should show more good things as a WR. Kyle just needs to trust him more and hopefully Jacob comes back ready to roll knowing the offense well.

Pearsall is not just a possession WR. Slot WRs have been key to offenses in today's NFL and you had Kupp win the triple crown on his way to helping the Rams win the SB, playing mostly in the slot. You're letting your own personal opinions cloud reality.

No need for a paternity test, huh

I don't know that the mom did much but bake that one.

Simply can't agree with this in totality.

Pearsall - you are just being unfair here.
Cowing - Way too early to tell. Stop calling people busts after their first year.
Green - I agree with you.
Mustapha - agree with you.
Puni - I would say GREAT pick.
