dumbest team in pro football. i wouldn't bet on them doing anything savvy. i already said he's not coming here imo. he wants to go to a winner and probably in the kc or texas area.

KC isn't in a great cap situation either. They're gonna lose some dudes this off season. Plus they're giving up what the 32/31 pick? That ain't the 11th overall pick.

Dallas isn't winning s**t, they've got their own EDGE that wants to be paid. Texans don't have much for trade capital the next couple years and their pick isn't better. Also I would assume the browns (if) they ever think about moving him it would be out of the division if possible.

we will see how it all shakes out in the end

i could see him saying i'm not playing another down for cleveland it's such a bad team and no QB on the horizon. and it makes sense for cleveland, they aren't competing now, may as well get future assets.

It doesn't make sense financially. That's the thing. They can't keep restructuring Watson who just tore his achilles. They're currently $30M in the red.

But does Garrett really want out? From this past season I think he wants to win.

Not even thinking the actual trade cost, can the 49ers even fit him into our cap the next 4-5 years with what we know today? Need AB for that.

finances schminances. teams do this every offseason. saints every offseason seem 100m over and they just clear that in a day. probably helps them financially in the long run right? they don't have to pay an A1 all nfl type player. another sacrifice to the watson contract

Has the Watson retore his Achilles situation been figured out. Wasn't there a chance the Browns could get out of that contract if they could prove he injured his ankle being dumb. When there was a instagram picture of him not wearing his boot.

The Saints team that no one wants to be the HC?

i think he would. cleveland is a pretty dreary place. he's been there his entire career. they have no QB. watson basically is out for the season already. no reason to want to be in that place anymore, go get a ring with a contending org.

More than likely it's ends up with Myles being the highest paid no-QB in the league

I think they absolutely could if they setup Brock's contract and restructured guys correctly.

cleveland is already in the mess. i'd liquidate everyone, eat the dead cap and totally rebuild that joint. now you may have to just be stuck with fully gtd watson, fine, we'll develop young guys while that watson deal plays out. hope to come out the other side like andy dufrane.

The saints never paid a QB $250M FGTD knowing he liked hand jibbers at massage parlors and was gonna injured every yr.

you can move money around only so much…at some point you got to bite the bullet and deal with it.

He said he doesn't want Cleveland to HOF. He wants a contending team with a SB shot. I don't see what Cleveland can offer to convince him. Watson destroyed the team and they were silly enough to play along.

Then we should consider it. We have a great core. I assume we would give up two 1's and a player. Makes hitting on picks even more important.

I know. That's why I think it's not just about money. He already got a huge deal. He probably wants to win.

They can make him the highest paid no-QB ever and backload the s**t out of it. Draft a QB at 2 or trade down for a ton of picks.

Watson really did destroy that team. His cap hit is $73M the next to yrs and they can't get out of that. At this pt just tell him to stay home and focus on getting a new QB via the draft.
