Its the beginning if a new era that is starting off promising.
Yeah, a faceless franchise with overpaid journeymen all over the place. Very nice.
You obviously don't see what they are doing.

and you clearly don't know what over paid looks like

That is how FA works. They are clearly overpaying guys that know the system so they can install it properly while young guys and draft picks learn. Most of these are front loaded short term deals. You either overpay or sit on the money and roll it over. People are getting so upset and don't even see what is happening. Also, it isn't your money.

that is what i am saying....free agency, this is a far damn cry from overpaying

ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR TAX PERCENTAGE IS 13% WHICH IS BY FAR HIGHEST IN THE LEAGUE... ALMOST 5 % HIGHER THAN THE NEXT TEAM

100%

Horrible offense gonna turn above average overnight w/out even playing a game. We're spending wisely... now we just gotta close it up with a couple more impact players (A.J. Bouye, etc.) and a solid draft. I don't think Shanny & Lynch have 2-3 rebuild on their minds. We get early picks in the draft, this might be the last time in a very long time we'll see early picks.

They are filling all the holes with guys that can start in certain positions if need be. Go into the draft with no clear cut need and draft BPA.

Pierre Garçon and the fullback are pretty much locks for starters, right? And Goodwin, Hoyer and Smith will probably be starters as well, I'm assuming?

Yup, I think so. That's 5 guys probably. Then we factor in Earl Mitchell, thats 6 new probably starters. Free Agency hasn't even officially started yet, plus we have the draft. The 49ers will have a very different look this year.

lol true. I guess thats why everybody we're signing is a starter by default lol. Garcon and Juice are legit tho.
Malcom Smith is a good f**king player.. will be awesome next to bow

goodwin is our returner for sure. hoyer could start this season if we dont get cousins. smith will help our run defense but im not sure about coverage. not bad and we still didnt break the bank too much.

at this point, we could draft watson and he would have enough weapons to succeed early. or we could draft fournette and have a hell of a running attack with a solid qb in hoyer.

What is unreal is how some people in here are b***hing about the moves. Hell, we just got a solid WR that immediately is our #1 threat, a speed burner, the top FB in the league, and a good stop gap QB until we sign Cousins in the off season. I would say that its a good day for the Niners.

Goodwin hasn't returned anything in over a year I thought I saw?
First week of free agency so I'm not sure why we should be making summations as to the improvements or where the team stands.
