At this point, with Baalke at the helm, we'd be talking about how we signed the back up to the back up or some freak athlete from another sport, and how this may be the year one of our ACL picks finally blossoms...

Or we'd have to wait for another 2 weeks and get a bargain barrel signing....all the while talking about "patience" and "not over-paying" and "making sure we have the money to extend our own guys"..... Then we would have heard about them extending all our injured players from last year.....

We need the QB and defense first.

We have to win stuff first.

I like that we're actually signing FA's though. Albeit at a price.

Wow, do we really need these qualifiers today? Can't we shed a tear or two that guys actually want to play here again???

Let's try this again: Ravens Pro-Bowl FB Kyle Juszczyk plans to sign with the 49ers assuming no last-minute negotiating snags, per sources

How should I feel about this? Haven't known anything about Juszczyk.

You should feel very good about this

Damn, he could be a RB if he wants to. 2:18, he knocks out a dude. He has quickness, agility, moves, and he looks to punish when there's an opening.

Between him, Hyde, and McDonald, defenders are not going to like tackling these dudes.
Damn it! I blinked!

Clicked on this thread and looked at the first few pages of this thread who were quick to judge - Now Lynch be like-" how do you like me now b***hes?!!!!

What is good is that he is not going really buck wild with big name signings but getting integral supporting players that will fit the Shannahans system and working well with Shanahan. He has a lot of help in the front office and is being a maestro and not trying to play all the instruments.
come on john , now just sign hightower and mission accomplished and get ready for draft, need a defense guy now
Baalke man. I really don't know what to say. It's incredible the amount of effort Lynch has put in a short time compared to Baalke's entire life. Ballke was nothing more than fungus infection.

In all fairness to Baalke, it is because of him that Lynch and the F.O. can do what they are doing money wise because he left them fiscally responsible. There are other teams that are a mess and can't do anything like Sa Diego or have to watch and not go buck wild.
This motha f**ka making moves....still dont like the hire, doe.

Baalke would not have been in this mess if he knew how sign free agents and draft players wihtout ACL injuries. Of course we had money, because he neever brought in quality players and replaced a high priced good coaching staff with a bunch of rejects and paid them 50 cents and hour.

I say close on Alshon Jeffery and call it day on offense (maybe pick up a 2nd veteran RB like Andre Ellington who would be great in this offense)...then use the draft mostly on D + a young QB.

I do give credit to baalke for not putting us in cap hell but he pretty much did the opposite which is put is in a talentless hell. All things being considered, I'm glad we're in THIS situation rather then the other but it shows you can't lean too extreme to one side. It was nice when we'd get a guy like skuta who came in and out performed his contract but for every skuta we had multiple scrubs that played at or below their cheap contracts.
