Yep, as for the workout warrior, looks like Burford is one, check his thread, a nice link to an article about him from goutsa.com

NVM lol, it was from you lol

49ers cap situation is pretty good too, considering all they have to do is trade Jimmy and 25+ million is freed up to sign Deebo and Bosa.

You NAILED it!

17/18 was pretty bad overall
19 ( Bosa, Deebo, Greenlaw ) best Draft by far.
20 ( Aiyuk & JJ ) Decent draft overall.
21 too early to judge, but looking pretty gd so far.
22. Some good, mixed with some questionable decisions Imo.

Overall, Lynch had been steady when It comes to the draft. If he could do better with those first rounders, this team could be a force for years to come. Of course, a lot of this also comes down to the "Lance" pick.

we HIT on Lance and no one will care about the two extra 1st rounders we gave up.... so let's all keep our fingers crossin!!

Lance becomes the 2nd coming of Leaf or JaMarcuss... and it'll be Lance's fault to not want to do what must be done to become great... or, maybe, the blame will be on Lynch for not taking on Fields or Lil' Mac...

it'll never be KS10 fault..

I almost wish we were bad at drafting like Seattle or the Rams so we would just have to sign good FA's or trade for very good players more often

hard to see....

we've turned down the chance to trade for the 2nd best QB of all time, then turned down another chance to sign a QB that would have gotten us over the TOP..

we have a HC who thinks we can win because of HIM, and him alone and wants the MAJORITY of the credit..

We're aggressively Prudent when It comes to free agency. We're too busy doing our "due diligence" whilst other teams "Rams, Chiefs, ect" are trying to win super bowls. This type of strategic should keep us competitive for a long time ( assuming we draft well ) . Question Is, will this type of approach be enough to help us win the big one.? Two attempts so far (2019/21) both failed. Third times a charm ( 2022 )? Let's hope so. Fingers crossed.

I just think you are exaggerating the situation. Brady was over 40 and coming off a down season. The opportunity wasn't really even open to get Stafford. Watson fell through for obvious reasons. The way you worded it sounds like getting a top 10 QB either through FA or through trade is like being able to pick out any car you want on the lot just because you have the money to do so. Ignoring all the reasons that factor in along the way.

As far as your last statement. You don't think Kyle is making the best decisions he can in order to win a SB? That's crazy talk. Especially since we used 3 1sts to move up and draft Trey.

If Lance doesn't lose his composure, his floor already bypasses recent 49er QB's (IMO,lol) All he has to do to begin with is to not lose his mind and to follow orders from Shanahan.

Very rarely do teams who "win" the offseason win when it matters, Rams & Chiefs lost key players in free agency, they didn't reload like everyone wants you to think. I prefer our method of building through the draft, supplement through free agency, occasionally add a key player via FA(Ward this year) or trade(Trent, Laken)

Brady was over 40 and coming off a down season - Do you wanna know how he did w/the Bucs?

We used three 1sts to move up and draft Trey - yeah, great decision (tho i'm hoping for the best for Lance) to trade away those picks on a guy who can be a bust instead of going with a proven commodity.

Bottom line, the two QBs the Greay Shanny turned down ended up winning the Super Bowl back to back year.

Moon, one consideration that perhaps you are not factoring.. we have a gold jacket wearing Hall of Famer who is a member of the TB Bucs ring of honor and is Stanford educated. The man went up against Jerry Rice in the Super Bowl and walked off the field that day a world champion. We are building a dynasty, not a one and done team of mercenaries. TL is 22 years old and is a dynamic FQB potential player who is garnering massive MVP consideration from the betting community.

Yea. Hindsight is always 20/20. Who else did Kyle turn down?
