Just ended. Pretty good interview, since Rome mostly let him talk.
Nothing too groundbreaking though:
-recapped how he got the job in a bit more detail than I'd heard before
-talked about how it's the technical/protocol elements of the job he has to learn, ie - how to run the draft meeting, and said this where guys like Peters and Mayhew are helping him in a big way
-talked about the Kap meeting, said it went well, building a trusting relationship with him, didn't talk about the off-field stuff with him (I assume he was referring to the anthem kneeling)
-talked about Elway basically wanting to hire him but not having the right job opening
-Elway told him broadcasting would be great preparation for a front office job, getting exposure to all 32 teams, all different systems, etc.
-discussed Mayhew mentoring him early in his career, how Mayhew didn't quite get there in Detroit but is still a valuable resource (liked hearing this part)
-then talked a bit about his family, how they are supportive, he wouldn't have taken the job if they didn't OK it, kinda reminded me of Harbaugh's family here
-and then there was a lot of talk throughout the interview about his and Kyle's relationship, they are really pushing this line

Clean out continues.
Former #49ers director of college scouting Matt Malaspina recently joined #Packers as a college scout.

I didn't expect them to start making wholesale changes until after the draft but it seems the entire organization is getting cleaned out.

No complaints here. The Denver guy was a steal for us.
